The 538 projection for the Wizards is 45-37, pretty even with a number of teams in the bottom half of playoff seeding.

538 has two projections. The other one(ELO) has 48-34 which seems more like a reasonable mid-point for projected records. A 55% win percentage(45 wins over an 82 game season).

I just hope we trade Beal and our other assets and commit to tanking in an effort to get down to your 30-win estimate.

That would be brutal to watch though. We'd have to go 15-38 from here on out. That's the pace of a 24-win team.
