As a long time Bullets/Wizards fan answer me this one.

Out of the four teams which one is going to break out of their shooting slump on Friday

This is a solid team but still lacking a true difference maker.
Do you still hate kuzma as much as you used to?

I respect your opinion and I wonder where do you think they need to add that difference maker because I know you check game stats in plus minus

Kuzma has something like a -14.9 on/off differential. He’s an absolutely terrible player that kills whatever team he’s on. He literally has a 51% TS. Doesn’t get steals or blocks, turns it over way too much for a PF. He’s actively stealing a couple more defensive rebounds but even his offensive rebounding is down from his career averages.

I guess he looks decent from the eye test because he can create his own shot (even though it doesn’t go in)

It's hard to draw too many conclusions from on/off data because Harrell has such a profound impact. Basically, whoever plays alongside Harrell has a good on/off differential, and whoever doesn't has a bad on/off differential.

But to eliminate the Harrell factor, one can look at player pairs data. Every player on the roster has a positive net rating when paired with Harrell (except Bertans in a low minute sample size), but the Kuzma/Harrell pair has the least positive net rating at just +2.4. For comparison, the Avdija/Harrell combo is +14.4.

With a little work, you can tease out the No-Harrell numbers for Kuzma as well. When Kuzma is on the floor without Harrell, his net rating is -8.73. For comparison, when Avdija is on the floor without Harrell, his net rating is -2.54.

Those numbers do not factor the impact of other teammates and the impact of the opposition. Obviously, Harrell is often in the game against the opposition's second unit, which makes it easier to post a positive net rating.

Using on/off data in small sample sizes is ill-advised because there is a massive amount of statistical noise. But the numbers are starting to lend at least some credence to the idea that Avdija is simply better than Kuzma, no matter who he plays with. At the very least, Wes ought to at least try Avdija with the starters more and see how it goes.

This was just one play but I thought the symbolism was terrible.

Bad pass made towards Harrell out high, ball goes into the back court. Harrell makes
a lazy attempt to get to the ball which will be a TO when he touches it. Instead a scramble
for the ball happens and the Pels get an easy bucket off the live ball TO which should have been
a dead ball TO. Very un-Trez like. Hope we don't see a repeat of that anytime soon. By anyone on
the team.
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

Nate, that's a very nice post.

Deni is playing well.
After the Wizards GM really went and did it by having an imaginative, strong, draft day. I totally feel this as well;
