This is another bad matchup like Cleveland. We score most of our points at the rim through Harrell, Gafford and drives by Beal. That's not gonna work against Gobert.

More Gill please.
or maybe TB makes his triumphant return.
Even Kuz at center. We need to do all we can to bring Gobert out of the paint.
Trade 2s for 3s and we have a punchers chance.

There is precedent for a guy with Kuzma's stature playing stretch 5 against Utah. Batum did it with the Clippers with great success. It would be great if Hachimura could come back. That would give us the forward depth we need with Kuzma playing lots of minutes at the 5.
Heck, maybe start Avdija in place of Gafford, with Kuzma moving to the 5. Harrell would still play backup 5 in the minutes when Gobert isn't on the floor.

If going big was the goal I'd just bench Dinwiddie and insert Avdija into the starting lineup to platoon both forward spots while KCP takes up the guard minutes.

Going big isn't the goal. Pulling Gobert out of the paint is.

Kinda agree. We need small ball line-ups here. Kuz/Deni in 5. Guys that can knock down 3s' and make Gobert get out of the paint. I would even say that Deni is a better choice than Kuz to this role at the 5. The reason is because he can play a lot more better than Kuz in defense, and we gonna need it against their bigs in the paint in defense. Deni in 5, Kuz 4, KCP 3, Beal 2, Neto/Dinwiddie 1.
Going small is the solution against the Jazz probably.

But aren't they a better 3 point shooting team than we are? Should we politely ask them to shoot 2's?

A problem with going small as that Gobert is going to dunk on top of people, and also get lots of rebounds. He'll get a 20-20 game.
This seems like it should be a loss but my gut feeling says that it's time for Montrezl Harrell to have a big game.

One of the weaknesses of Gobert is that he has been unable to take much advantage of being guarded by a smaller player. He hasn't demonstrated an aptitude for establishing deep post position and finishing over smaller players. Like I said earlier, Batum (and Marcus Morris) could handle him defensively.

Jazz blew out the 76ers... easily
Utah got 63 rebounds to the 76ers' 43 rebounds!

If Dinwiddie isn't aggressive without Kuzma in I give up.

Deni getting his first start this season. Some of us wanted a lineup change. There you go. Thanks to the Rona.

What is Dinwiddie's role on offense? He's not guarding Mitchell so at least he gest a rest there.
