YOUR Washington Bullets are 15-15. And headed for the lottery fast!

They play Utah again... this time in SLC. The Jazz are coming off a stunning loss to the San Antonio Spurs with Lonnie Walker providing the go-ahead bucket over Rudy Gobert.

Only question for tonight... how quickly do the Bullets get blown out by 20 again?

Early in the season, maybe we'd have a shot against Utah. Now... we're just outshined.

Any excuse to play Chris Cornell is a good excuse.

No Mike Conley, but same old lineup means slow start. Guys want to get back home for the holidays. Starting to see some bickering and team is falling apart internally with Trez and Dinwiddie complaining.

My God, Dinwiddie can't get past or won't try to drive past Gobert 20 feet away? What's the point of having him?

Gobert took Gafford's lunch money. Repeatedly. Yikes.

And we're on our way to going down by 20 in the first. Nice change of pace - we usually wait until the 2nd or 3rd quarter to show this kind of lethargy.

Something definitely seems really off with these guys. It's not just that they're not that good - something with the team dynamic. Hard to lay that at the feet of a first year coach, but that's the job he signed up for. Him and Beal, who wants to be paid like a franchise guy - those two ultimately need to buckle up. The team is filled with mediocre to average-ish players. They're playing like ass-tastic players, though, and they're better than that.

I posted this in the coach Wes thread.

So apparently several players are unhappy with the offense and their roles in it. Of course, that's not an excuse to play crappy defense. https://theathletic.com/302279...all?source=user-shared-article

The other night, veteran swingman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was asked why Washington, without any new injuries, is struggling this much, this quickly, after such a strong start. He was speaking in general terms, but his answer was telling.

It also offers a preliminary road map for the players and coaches to rejuvenate their season.

“It just all boils down to that communication, trusting each other, being able to rely on each other, being able to take criticisms from each other,” Caldwell-Pope said. “There’s a lot that goes into it. We know we’re losing right now, but we can’t let that dictate our play and our trust with each other. We’ve got to find a way to just get it done.”

When asked whether the team is having the honest, face-to-face communication it needs, Caldwell-Pope answered: “We have them talks individually (and) as a group. I just feel like there’s not enough of them."

Everybody is eating. Well just Beal and KCP until Neto finally scored.

Neto loves playing in Utah. Maybe they will take him back.

Everybody goes off when they are defended by Bertans. Even if he plays decent defense, guys eyes' light up when they see he's defending them.

why Kuz just replaced Deni after 4 min of playing while he was pretty good if he's not injured?!

Not down double digits going into the second quarter. That's an upset in itself.

No clue unless he missed a defensive assignment on Bogs.
