Interesting. This suggests that the NBA is crediting natural immunity to be equivalent to vaccination. Good for them! Who knew that the NBA would develop more sensible rules than the CDC?

Interestingly enough they announced quarantine drops to six days upon testing data. Boosted folks are also getting the viral load out faster.
The CDC also changed guidance on quarantine down to 5 right after the NBA news broke. And also atleast 5 days of mask wearing after quarantine…
Now Holiday got COVID too
?s=21

Man, with Holiday joining Neto and KCP in protocols, we are going to have an awfully thin backcourt, particularly if Beal can't play. I guess Winston and Ayayi will suit up?

Jordan Goodwin as well. But I’m not particularly thrilled with him as he’s a scorer.

LOL
Maybe this will get Hachimura onto the court?
Who is left to suit up? Basically, we have 6 guys plus G-Leaguers:
Dinwiddie
Kispert
Avdija
Bertans
Kuzma
Gafford
Plus possibly Beal

There has to be a limit on the number of sick players, that have Covid, which triggers a rescheduling or cancelling of a game. I am not a fan of watching ANY team fielding a bunch of g-leaguers, etc.

So Ted must have had a Ted-Talk with Beal. No BB, I assume no Trez, no KCP, Gill, Neto, Holiday. No Rui and Bryant anyhow but also in protocol (still wondering why Rui traveled with the team to not play.).
Who will play tonight other than Gafford, Bertans, Deni, Spencer, Kispert and Kuzma. I hope Todd gets some run.

If the guys (and the guys shoring up the guys, including a guy who just arrived off the street at 5 pm) don’t lose by 44, it’ll be a moral victory.
Pat Riley being Pat Riley, they will put their boot on our necks.
Nice guy, Pat. Just a peach.
And — AND — oh goodie goodie goodie: this’ll be broadcast nationally.

Is Pat Riley still coaching? I think Spoelstra is his own man. He's just trying to win and they have no Bam, no Lowry and no Tucker. Gafford needs to produce tonight on both ends and play at least 30 minutes.

I would not want Kispert on Robinson.

With no Bam and Dedmon, the Heat have no rim protection. Just keep taking it to the hoop.
