YOUR Washington Bullets are 19-18. After starting 10-3, they are 9-15 since then!

On Wednesday, they face a tanking Rockets team who are 10-28 coming off an L to the 76ers. The Rockets have been undergoing drama with Kevin Porter and Christian Wood both being suspended by Coach Silas for their conduct detrimental to the team this weekend. The Rockets other young players have been performing well lately and I'd wager they have a good nucleus going forward... if they can find a legitimate PG that's not Porter.

The Rockets have a couple of former Bullets. Garrison Matthews or 'Gary Bird' as Rockets fans have dubbed recently inked a nice little contract extension for $8M over 4 years. Our former franchise cornerstone, the Wall Star, has yet to play this season and it looks like he may never suit up for the Rockets ever again. He's healthy and looks to be in good shape. He's practicing. He's on the bench with the guys and has been a mentor to #2 overall pick Jalen Green. An odd situation continues to get odder...

Shame Wall won’t be at the game. I’d love to see the crowd show him the love.

I can't find the quote anywhere, but these pics of John make me remember when he was drafted Ted Leonsis talking about how he liked that Wall didn't have any tattoos!

Clearly a game we should win.

We had the hot start, then struggled, but the way the schedule was set,
we have played far fewer home games than road games. Simply given the
nature of the league, it’s important that we now pile up home wins, particularly vs
a bottom feeder team like HOU. Must win game.

On a completely separate note and simply a curiosity or
intellectual exercise, what with legal sports betting
now available, I often look at the point spread and ask myself
where my money would be wagered if I did place a bet. For the record,
I have never placed a sports bet in my life and I don’t even
know what the mechanics are in doing so, such as minimum amounts,
or whether to possible to just bet one game. Honestly, I’d almost
be afraid of getting started because of the tendency for gamblers
to keep betting until they are in the hole. Anyone care to comment
or start a separate thread, feel free. One reason I don’t participate
in gambling is the dystopic vision seen in Back to the Future PT 2.

WUJ is allergic to calling early timeouts.

Kuz is so bad early and so good late. Maybe you bring him off the bench when Rui comes back.

All these players out... I CAN'T WAIT til we can floor a main rotation of Dinwiddie, Beal, KCP, Deni, Kuz, Rui, Gafford, Trez .... Complimented by an extended bench of Bryant, Gil, Bertans, Kispert, Neto, Holiday.

I want to see this team with everyone healthy and available.... We might actually have something here if it ever happens!

So much for putting Bertans in early. Miss 3, dribbles ball up floor turnover, gets beaten down low by smaller player, turnover.

About time Kuz finally attacked the basket.

According to Chase Hughes, we're getting close. Dinwiddie will be back next game.

Welcome back Neto. No ball movement. Turnover. Beaten off the dribble.
