GT #52: Suns @ Bullets 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM) [2/5/22]

YOUR Washington Bullets are 24-27 and coming off their first W in two weeks by defeating the hot 76ers.

An impressive win at Philly snapped the hot 76ers win streak at 5. Kuzma had a game winning block on MVP candidate Joel Embiid in the waning seconds. Harrell made clutch shots and Dinwiddie got a triple double which may remind you of the terrible shooting night triple doubles we saw last season by Westbrook.

The defending Western Conference Champions come to DC for their annual visit to the nation's capital. They destroyed the Bullets in the valley back in December. The Suns have won 11 in a row for a second time this season but were defeated in ATL to stop the streak. CP3 continues his artistry providing a masterclass at the PG position. Devin Booker is having an excellent season with timely and clutch buckets every night. The PHX frontcourt has gotten healthy with the return of Ayton and Crowder.

The last Bullets meeting in this series was last season in DC. Which was a blowout win for DC before a COVID wave stopped their season for 2 weeks.

Will the Bullets play with pride or rev up the tank?! I know what you Bullets fans want.

This one is going to be high-scoring. I like our chances with the Dinwidde-Holiday backcourt going up against Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Neto with 22 and 3 steals off the bench.

Wiz win 141-119.

I really hope the Wizards win this one!!

To win back to back vs Philly & Suns without Beal would be a message to Wizards management to take notice.

Ayton might get 30 just against Bryant alone.

Dinwiddie is so useless.

Having him initiate the offense is like playing against an extra defender.

He is going against one of the great point guards on both ends of the floor to ever play the game so yeah, he's going to struggle some. Maybe have Holiday attempt to initiate though he's a third point guard for a reason.

It's nice Bryant can make a jumper but he is just too clueless on defense to ever be a legit starter.

Even the idea of showcasing Bryant against the best team in the NBA and Ayton is a terrible idea. I would hope there is some tangible reason why Gaford is not playing other than that.

This is like the Uconn women in their prime playing a Division II team or a Patriot League team and beating them by 70.

Bryant another dude with some physical tools that just isn't a basketball player. He doesn't scream to me that he desires to be a good basketball player, just out there having fun, but not in a good way.

Other than not getting Gafford in, I don't honestly know what you think he should be doing. We don't match up with them at any position. Maybe at the 4 when Kuzma is in. We start Aaron Holiday because Beal is hurt. You don't want him to play Neto-fine. Play Deni 35 minutes at the 2?
