GT #57: Bullets @ Pacers 7:30 PM (NBCSW/1500 AM) [2/16/22]

YOUR Washington Bullets are 26-30 and 2-1 since the Trade Deadline!

They're in the 10th seed... well, tied for it. The Hawks have lost 2 in a row if we're paying attention to the Play-IN Tournament.

Wednesday night is a match up of the new-look Pacers led by newly acquired PG Tyrese Haliburton. Many on this board wanted Haliburton in the 2020 draft and to see him traded less than 18 months after the draft is stunning! It was for Sabonis, but the shocking transaction is still felt around the NBA.

The Pacers are sort of tanking. They've been terrible in close games which is why their record is the way it is. Brogdon is out, Turner has been out, Duarte is out, McConnell has been out, and TJ Warren has only played 4 games this season after not playing at all in 2020-21 after his stellar play in The Bubble. Our 2021 1st round pick we got from the Lakers, Isaiah Jackson, also is probably out.

This may be a game where it'll be tough to get the tank loss. But I have faith that Haliburton will cook Neto and Ish... and get to the basket at will!

This was going to be Aaron Holiday's chance to show the Pacers they messed up. Instead, cash considerations going for 24 with 7 assists. Wiz win 122-95.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Rough start for Kispert with two bad three-point misses. With Rui out at least we get to see Todd in. Old ass Lance Stephenson abusing the young guys.

An Isaiah Todd sighting? In the 1st quarter?

Everyone on the board who wants the Wizards to tank should be pleased.

Even that might not be enough to lose to Indiana.

Is the basket moving when Todd shoots? I'm trying to find an explanation for his misses.

Tanking is the smart thing, but wow - it's hard to watch.

Isaiah Todd has played just five minutes and is -12. He literally looks lost on every play and may not be ready in three years. Nice second-round pick Tommy. But he's great for tanking.

Yeah this team is probably going to have some rough road games. With that said, they don't look engaged tonight.

Agreed…looks like a bust. Deni meanwhile is annoying me tonite. Dude, be more aggressive offensively: you are a better talent than most guys on the floor! But just 1 FG..

It's just not Kispert's night from 3, on defense and passing-wise. But you have to play these young guys through all these mistakes.

KCP has been the best player on the floor. The young guys have been intimidated by Lance's grown-man strength. Instead of driving, Denis is trying to feed Gill in traffic. I'm not worried about him.

Deni and Bryant haven't been able to score yet against a team as bad as Indiana? That bugs me.

Ha Bryant just scored after I motivated him. You're welcome.
