Deni and Rui stroking the 3 ball with confidence. Clear progress there

If Kuzma would have hit Deni with that pass a second earlier instead of always looking for his shot, no challenge.

I don’t understand why Kispert is playing consistently more minutes than Deni and Rui

Neto is a freaking train wreck…thank you Tommy and Wes for falling back in love with him. Honestly there are better PGs in Euroleague than Neto… :banghead:

Problem is this team still has a make the play-in mentality and Deni has 4 shots on the night, the only guy off the bench not in the grave in +/-.

Some of the worst offense I've ever seen in the last three minutes for the Hawks. Dribble for 20 seconds and let Trae Young hoist a 30-footer. No plays. No post ups. No drives. WIz should have stole this one and still can. Young has been horrible tonight.

Kuzma with 11 assists…he’s surprising many this season.

Good tank loss. Moral victory. No pizza but orange slices for everybody.

Thought the Wiz did a nice job on D on Trae Young and kept Deni in on Bogdanovic in the fourth quarter. Rui is on fire from 3pt. Ureal.

I blame the refs for no half off pizza

34 FTs for ATL

Only 9 for the home team

Good result for us. I noticed a stat on the broadcast showing 'assists off the bench after the all star break' that noted Ish was leading the league in that highly defined statistic with about five, but then Dinwiddie and Holiday not that far behind with about 4 each. Random self-own.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

An outstanding game from Rui! One of his best as a Wizard! He shot w/ confidence & made the shots! Plus he rebounded.

Of course, KCP had a game the like of which you rarely see. Not to mention the way Deni & Bryant shot the ball. Plus, we had 37 assists -- I can't recall a single Wizards game w/ that many!

Would have been a nice one to win.
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

This Rui Hachimura 3-point shooting thing is starting to get ridiculous. Over his last 16 games last year (including 5 playoff games), he shot 50% from 3-point range (18/36). So far in 22 games this year, he is shooting 54% (27/50). So that's a .523 percentage over the last 38 games.

He has shot 60% over his last 19 games (27/45).

What's weird, is over that entire 38 game stretch of hot shooting, he has only taken more than 3 3PA's on two occasions, once he shot 6 times and once he shot 4.

You have to believe the coaches are in his ear telling him to get up more shot attempts.

Yes, the coaches need to be urging Rui to shoot more 3s. But it’s also on Rui to work harder to get open for 3s and for his teammates to look to get him the ball.

With those kind of percentages, I’d like to see Rui get up at least 6 threes a game.

Again, this is where the lack of a passing, playmaking PG hurts.

They shot 34 free throws to only 9 for Washington.

Fix was in.

Good. Chet Holmgren is a long shot but each loss helps.
Bye bye Beal.

I mean at this point is it a thing where is his shot selection that good? Or is he good at making 3s.
