I love how this thing, that happens for two weeks a year, is suddenly a defining quality of this city, such that a sports team pays homage to it in a jersey.

I mean, really.

Just like they — and by they, I mean the they who foist this and other shxt on us, the marketeers, the schemers, the branders, the corporate campaigners, all the people who lie for a living or stretch the truth for a living or turn shxt into shinola for a living and who degrade our precious and sacred time here on earth — just like they did with “DMV” and countless other acts of salesjobbery.

This has to be a joke.

It's something that affords a distinct aesthetic that's relevant to the area and isn't just another variant on a governmental or particularly a militaristic theme. Obviously you can reduce it down to whether you think they look good, but I do and I think it's a nice way to do something that's a little fresher and D.C. themed.

I will have to see the rest of the march line-up, but this looks like a dud except for lady Wiz fans, I ain't buying this..

It's not my thing tbh, but cherry blossoms are a big deal in DC for a couple of weeks in the year, so I think it's a nice touch by the organization.

These have a 70s love wagon paint job vibe. Current unis set the bar low so change is good.

I forget Cherry Blossoms every year until I am in traffic in March. We gotta up our Cherry Blossom game because Macon’s festival is coming on strong. Cherry Blossoms may only be a few weeks a year, but they usually deliver as promised, unlike some teams we know.

Fans have been tweeting about cherry blossom unis for years. I'm surprised to see some negative reactions to this. Especially considering the last uniform reveal this city had was for the uglier-than-sin Commanders set, which includes a rejected Cards uni for the away uni and a Steelers pastiche for the alternate.
