KCP does some many dumb things on the floor.

Deni leaves the game and DeRozan goes nuts.

Yes. Absolutely. Particularly if he only costs the vet minimum. As a guy who was released in the middle of the season, that's all it will probably take.
Ish just does too much oe-on-one, so despite some makes, it kills the offenses flow and rhythm.
Ish is still a decent backup PG, but I don't think he's the right time of PG for this team. He was good as the backup PG behind ball-dominant high-usage guys like Westbrook and Wall; but his style of play isn't ideal for the decentralized motion offense that we run now.
We need more defense and shooting from our PG, even if he is a lesser playmaker than Ish.

Deni needs to be in the game if anything for experience.

Deni was making Derozen sweat so Wes benches him…

Deni has been on the floor for a while and probably needed a blow. It wouldn't surprise me if Wes gets Deni back in real soon, provided the game is still in reach.

Tough to win when you shoot 6-27 from 3.

I kinda like this lineup on the floor right now. It's Porzingis surrounded by our 4 best wing defenders: Avdija, KCP, Hachimura and Sato.

These idiots are more concerned with their predictions than the actual game. Nice job Ted and Zach.

Oh well. Nice games by Avdija and Hachimura, at least.

Is Kuz wearing cerise or cherry blossom tonight?

Good tank loss. LaVine slept through the first three quarters and woke up when they needed him.

I've been saying that for a century. He's a scorer PG, just like Dinwiddie / Neto. We don't need that from our PG. I've got sick from Ish's Pull ups.. I bet he averages at least 5 of them per a game. Even if he makes them, you don't want it. He's also problem in defense and you give less minutes to the youngins as well. Just play Sato coach. Sato and Deni next to him as a secondary PG and boom you have offense.
And btw lovedddd to see Deni's defense on DeRozan. Throwed the X? DeRozan cried to the reff and got humiliated.
A line-up of both Sato, Deni, Kispert, KP and someone else idk who - is a good line-up. 4 Players that can stretch the floor well, and also play smart basketball usually. Just don't give me Ish/Neto. I love the combination of Deni and Gafford in the P&R also. Very effective i guess. They seem to have a good chemistry and Deni finds him after the switch / missmatch almost all the time. Sometimes alley oop, sometimes a dime. Love to see them playing.

Re: GT #75: Bulls @ Bullets 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM) [3/29/22]
Obviously the Wizards keep losing (not a bad thing at all given the objective as of 10 games ago, at least, is to get the best chances of the highest draft pick possible), but I thought tonight's game (and most recent ones) give hope for a decent future outlook.
Rui and Deni both seem to be pretty lively. Absent drafting a PG or trading for a star PG I think Deni and Sato is a perfectly reasonable one year solution to the PG position.
Kispert - it's still hard to know, but the prospects don't look terrible.
I like Gaff as a backup C well enough and Gill seems like something like an adequate 9/10th man PF.
Obviously that quick summary doesn't address the requisite stars - candidates for whom are Kuz, KP and Beal in some order.
I know there's a decent amount of scepticism on this board re Kuzma. I've been thinking throughout the year that he's been a little in advance of where his default was .. but I'm willing to take other views on board. However, he's going to have to make the 2020-2021 Julius Randle jump to really get to commanding the usage he probably will get next year.
KP is exactly 8 days younger than Kuzma - and with a f*** tonne of time lost to severe contact injuries. He's pretty clearly on a much higher level when not injured. Different folks have different views; however, I'm not that interested in other people's ideas on him.
Beal ... a mystery. My, on this point completely ill informed, instinct is to tear it all down and trade him for future adventures. His possible max seems a step too far. But I could well be utterly wrong. If the Wiz were trying to trade him for a different shaped all star who would that be?
