What a horrible draft pick

So true…what a bust

I am on the record hating the trade that got us the pick, hating that we used the pick rather than trading it (as the Knicks did the #32), & hating that we picked Todd.

But, still... Isaiah Todd turned 20 years old less than 6 months ago. I would hate to put "bust" on a kid that young.
Spoiler:
You're probably right... :(

So hopefully GS and Dallas will rest some guys against SAS.

Wiz should start Todd&Carey against the hornets to get a glimpse of our frontcourt of the future

Todd doesn't even look like he wants to be a good player out there. Just chucks threes and tries to do absolutely nothing else.

Luka just hit 16 technicals and will be suspended for the final game. Works perfectly for us.

Why the hate on Todd? Posters on this board are so weird. They hold on vendettas against players like the player in question personally hurt them in some way. Even worse is when people let this sentiment impact their analysis. For anyone to have a fully formed opinion of Todd given 1) how young he is and 2) how little he plays, strikes me as bizarre.

I don't get it either. The kid has had no minutes and in a tiny sample size, looks like he doesn't belong on the floor Personally, I'd like to take guys in the second round that are not 3-4 year projects, but there's no way I'm closing the book on a 6-10 kid with some talent. I heard some people on this board last year exclaim how terrible Anthony Edwards was because he was shooting 36% or whatever in his first few months as a pro.

Didn't play college ball. Has had minimal coaching. I don't think much of him, but really... there's no reason to be mean-spirited about the kid.

Now... you probably don't feel like that. But it's kind of coming off that way.

If there's someone to call to account here, it's Tommy -- he turned the #22 pick into "cash considerations" (for Holiday) & Isaiah Todd. I've never been able to figure out why....

Quickley had a terrific night for the Knicks -- shout out to Zards who had him on his radar!

He’s shooting 38% in the Gleague (28% from 3) in over 1100 minutes and averaging 6 rebounds per 36 and twice as many turnovers as assists. His on/off numbers are also horrendous.

Yeah of course, anyone can say “he’s 20 years old he could get better”, but he’s just not a NBA caliber player and it’s obvious if you watch him play.

He doesn’t do anything well.

A terrible reach at pick #31 when there were quality players around.

Tommy is awful. He has learned too many things from ernie

Yup…two years ago my second round sleeper was Quickley. Last year it was Herb Jones. Gonna have to look at candidates for this year to see if I can pull off a trifecta. :)

Hopefully Tommy can use his young age and "upside" to finagle someone to take him in a trade.

On the plus side, we all got a Thomas Bryant bobble head and a t-shirt.

Agreed. Todd is very young. Jalen Smith started slowly. Now look at his game. Isaiah Todd has time to impress.
Bye bye Beal.
