After taking an L on Wednesday, the Wizards bounced back on Friday and beat a Miami HEAT squad with Kyle Lowry and effectively 6 bench guys.

It was a terrible 1st half performance where Wes Unseld Jr and his players couldn't figure out how to crack a 2-3 zone. They made their comeback in regulation and won in OT. But again, its a common theme for this franchise. Getting down big, coming back, and nothing changes.

On Sunday, the Hornets are in town. They've struggled this season and LaMelo Ball sprained his ankle again the other night. They lost in 2OT to the Cavs on Friday.

Last season, a Wizards lost to Charlotte began the beginning of the end of the hot start and above .500 basketball.

Will the Hornets sink the season again?

“Morris is considered questionable for Sunday's game versus the Hornets due to right ankle soreness, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.

Morris hasn't missed a game yet for the Wizards, but it appears he could line up for a rest Sunday depending on how his ankle feels over the next 24 hours. His likely replacement at point guard, Jordan Goodwin (knee) is also questionable for the contest, so the Wizards could be forced to go with Bradley Beal as the primary ball-handler.”

If MM & Goody are out will JD get some minutes? Or will Deni play PG ?
I really don’t want Beal playing 40+ minutes. Diminishing returns after a point.

Isn’t Schakel a two way? Can’t he play point?

Beal at PG is a disaster on many levels. TOs, pace, he’s better off the ball, etc.

Schakel is a SG/SF wing like Kispert.
