Will Wes get out schooled by Spo again? That’s the key to be honest.

Generally speaking, the more a team faces each other, the less coaching matters. The smart coaches are the ones who figure out how to exploit the opposition first. Eventually both coaches know everything the other guy is trying to do and is no longer surprised by anything.

Basically, Spoelstra's coaching advantage should decrease with each game. It should be close to zero now - so it boils down to talent. If they don't have Butler, I don't think the Heat are much more talented than the Wizards are.

Frankly, I don't think they outplayed the Wizards last game. The game felt like a draw to me. The difference was just random variance in 3-point shooting and FT shooting. It wouldn't surprise me if a full analysis of the game would show that the Wizards had more quality shot attempts than Miami did.

Looks like they're starting Avdija at PG alongside Beal, Kispert, Kuzma and Porzingis.

Kispert needs to make better decisions with the ball.

Even though KP is still a bit off, at least he's not just hanging around the 3-point line and is trying to get to the basket.

Beal quite active defensively including a block on Lowry’s 3 pointer…until he fouls a 3 point shooter..who luckily missed all 3 FTs…

If Deni keeps this up for 36 minutes, he is going to finish with 18 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 blocks.

Beal has been solid.

That was a very good quarter.

Good 1st q. Let’s hope we carry on with the same intensity.

Gill at center. Barton being Barton. Weird lineup. Rui with the longest low ankle-sprain injury. As Barton jacks up another 3 that has no chance of going in.

Kispert and Barton together have been awful x2.
