I went with Deni for his defense down the stretch.

Gotta go with KP. His offense was pretty solid, but his defense was critical. Yeah, he didn't really slow down Embiid, but he totally protected the rim from the rest of the Philly squad. He made a bunch of key blocks.
Deni was really big defensively down the stretch, but I can't give him POTG because he was pretty invisible for the rest of the game. He did a pretty good job defensively on Harden, but the refs were letting Harden get away with really egregious push-offs.
Beal was real solid. He might have been POTG if he didn't miss crunch time in the 4th.

Deni was solid.
Haters, Gafford was also solid the last three minutes as Joel E avoided driving to the point of slipping and falling.
Porzingis was POTG and Unseld finally understood the Big Lineup works wonders.
This would have been a loss with Beal doing his usual down the stretch.

Nah. He was solid all game.

Nah. He was solid all game.
Beal iso ball and no Deni at SG would have lost this game BECAUSE SOLID ALL GAME BEAL would have stagnated offense and compromised defense as it has done all season.
Neither of us knows. We just differ. Not mad at you because YOU COULD BE RIGHT.
I think WUJ is the problem when he doesn’t INSIST THAT KP AND Kuz run the offense in clutch.

KP was POTG with Kuzma unsung hero. Kyle kept the Wizards afloat with a tremendous third quarter AND after Brad left the game.

Energy is what Kuzma supplied.

Couldn't watch the whole game, but stat line says Porzingis. 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in a good win over Philly should take it.
Granted Embiid did put up 48, which I assume Porzingis was playing defense on him for some stretches.
Speaking of Embiid, it was pretty embarrassing to see him trying to flop down the stretch for foul calls. He really cost his team on 2 to 3 possession in the last 3 minutes and depressed our tank.

That behind the back move by Embiid was embarrassing. Lookin like WizD in the Takoma Park Rec League

He got those flops early .Embiid got Advija, Gibson, and Gafford by flopping…
(The second quarter I tweeted the refs are intentionally cheating )
Easily 6 to ten of his points were gifted by referees (esp crew chief #10 ref).

It was nice to see a well played game. Everyone had a part to play, and each player did their thing. For me KP did the best on both sides of the court.
I know it’s only one game, but when healthy, this team is not bad.

I voted "other", for Barton, again. The last two games he has been an Eastern player of the Week candidate solely on the big difference he makes by not playing.

Barton's decline has been insane. He has the second worst FG% in the league this year. Dude might be in Taiwan next year if he keeps throwing up bricks
