Deni was really good tonight. He worked hard on the boards, not always getting the rebound, but keeping it alive. He pushed the pace well and finished. He’s my POTG, but kudos too to Morris. That’s the best he’s played for us.

Beal, Kuz and Zinger were good. Delon was his usual steady self. Of all the rotation guys, Rui and Gibson were bad and Krispy was meh… but overall, a really good team effort.

Agreed, good team effort busting the tank. They made the Knicks look very pedestrian. I’ll go with Deni too!

Kuzma.

Still shoots way too much, but 27 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists (4 TOs), a block and a steal will give it to him on even if on heavy volume and below average efficiency.

Real player of the game was team defense. We did an excellent job of walling off the paint for large stretches of the night, and in particular keeping Randle in handcuffs after he cooked us in our last meeting. NY didn't do themselves any favors though, took a lot of poor quality attempts, but we contributed to that. This team can play defense when focused, WUJ just can't get them to commit every night.

Good to see Deni get a few treys to go down, and overall have a game that probably will give him a confidence boost. Biggest aspect is he looked to score, wasn't dissuaded when he missed a couple, and passed to the open man when his shot wasn't there. Still head scratching, seems like the team misses shots on a lot of his passes, like they aren't ready for them.
