GT #51: Blazers @ Bullets 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM)

YOUR Washington Bullets are 24-26! Have won 6 in a row and right now are the hottest team in the NBA.

Due to weather, no game was played at Detroit on Wednesday. So, on Friday night, your Bullets welcome the Portland Trail Blazers to town on Rick Ross/Ja Rule night at Capital One Arena.

The Blazers are sometimes referred to as Wizards west due to Lillard's commitment to PDX and securing the bag along with it which is reminiscent of our own SG. Difference is, the Blazers have been to the conference finals a couple of times in this century and the Bullets haven't.

Anyway, the Blazers are coming off a huge win in Memphis behind Lillard's 42 points. Simons chipped in 26.

Will the Blazers continue to 'get right' in DC?

INJURY REPORT:

WIZARDS:
Anthony Gill (health and safety protocols -- out)

TRAIL BLAZERS:
Ibou Badji (left knee soreness -- out)
Jerami Grant (concussion evaluation -- questionable)
Jusuf Nurkic (left calf strain -- out)
Justise Winslow (left ankle sprain -- out)

If Nurkic is actually out, I’m watching to see if hopefully a healthy Gafford takes advantage of it and has another big game.

WUJ is terrible. Lost the game running with Kispert and Nunn in there together ending third, starting 4th.

Check that. Beal has been playing with a slight limp. He may not be 100%.

I get that Deni wasn't having the best game, but you gotta have the kid in for defense.
