I don't know about that. I actually think that Wes Jr. has been pretty good about letting young, talented guys get a chance rather than always catering to the veterans. Remember when everyone thought that Barton would start? Yet, he was quickly relegated to 9th man in the rotation and was ultimately jettisoned from the rotation entirely so that Deni and Kispert could get the minutes.

I think Wes will be fair in his decision on whether to play Nunn or Jackson our 4th guard minutes. Frankly, I think a lot of the minutes that Nunn got in the past 2 weeks were mostly just an effort to showcase him before the deadline. Now that the deadline has passed, I think Wes will play whomever is playing better, without any real consideration of deferring to the "veteran". That doesn't mean he is going to just gift the minutes to Jackson. But Jackson will get a real chance to earn the spot.

Jackson has the potential to be one of the top 20 players who were draft eligible that yeah. He's a solid guy!

Yeah I think that guy nails it. Jackson can basically play the 1/2/3 and do everything well. Plays top shelf defense with top shelf effort. Fills the stat sheet, and can create his own shot from all 3 levels. I don’t see why he can’t come in and be one of those under the radar highly impactful wings like Caruso/Josh Green/Reaves/Dort.

zero reason to not play him 20 something minutes over Nunn.

I like this move. Him & Gafford are now the best athletes on the team. I'd like to see him, Goodwin & Wright get most of the backup guard minutes from here on out.

I've been talking up Quenton Jackson since early in the last draft process. I think he's a terrific player.

I am *very* happy to see him get a shot in the league, & I won't be surprised if he has a solid, extended NBA career. In fact, imo he has potential to be way beyond a journeyman.

For clarity, on the numbers: if Quenton Jackson were playing in the NBA at the level he's playing in the G League, he'd be an all star.

Of course, the G League isn't the NBA. All the same, Jackson is balling out.

For that matter, so is Kris Dunn.

Q-Jack looks good in that wizards throwback jersey. I wonder if his mom was a wizards fan or more likely a MJ fan.

Hopefully we’ll find out after he has a chance to play more.

in the last few games he passed my eye test. I'll be interested in what happens
with him going forward.

I don’t know quite what to think regarding the Q. Jackson situation. I applauded when the Zards picked him up because I’d seen a few of his games at Texas A&M and was impressed by the way he’d takeover close games offensively. Damn near unstoppable at times.

While none of them are outstanding, the Zards appear to now have 4 NBA level PGs—Morris, Wright, Goodwin and Jackson. And then there’s Johnny D. who’s probably more of a SG than PG.

On top of that, there’s a good chance the Zards draft a PG like a Wallace or Black.

Something has to give. I guess we’ll see this off-season.
