Maybe DeSantis's position is backed by the fact that standardized tests are racially biased.

lol at this extreme right wing idiot.
He can have his money back if he pays reparations to the descendants of the families his ancestors enslaved.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/02/13/richmond-university-slavery-name-removal/Actually, rather than just removing the guy's name, that's what the University should do. If you don't just cash out the endowment and give it to them, you could at least give the enslaved families' 51% shares in the endowment, give them veto power over what does and doesn't get taught.

In what universe would you expect the GOP to demand the resignation of someone who disrespected a trans woman?

In any other workplace, asking someone, anyone, if they had a penis, in public, in front of witnesses, ON TELEVISION would be considered sexual harassment and they would be fired, and if not, the company would be sued for creating a hostile work environment. Republicans should respect the rules of the society they live in or move to a country where such behavior is tolerated and encouraged, like Russia or Turkey. Or Uzbekistan.

So, now we know that the Arkansas legislature, and others are a lot like Russia, etc. That can't be a surprise. Is someone going to take them to court? The Rs run the courts in these places.
And thanks for the link to the Advocate. Now I know where to find "21 Tips for Rimming".
