YOUR Washington Bullets are 26-29!

They have won 8 out of their last 11. And now head on the road before the All-Star break. They sit at the 9th seed as of this writing.

First up on the road trip? The Steph-less Warriors who are coming off a loss on Saturday to the LeBron-less Lakers who featured some of their new additions. Klay Thompson had one of his worst shooting nights. GSW is sitting at .500 and is also in the play-in chase. They won in DC on MLK Day.

Will the road bring back the tank?

It surprised me to see that the Wizards have won 8 of their last 11. It doesn't really feel like it given the pain of those two blown leads.

Going back further, the Wizards have won 15 of their last 24. They've actually been a highly competent ball club for almost a third of the season.

A big part of that success is that we've gone 5-1 in our last 6 away games.

Also:

Orlando, Pacers, Houston, SA… that has a LITTLE to do with our success.

Ironically, the best we’ve played was in the first halves of two loses - Blazers and Nyets

Time to hang the “We don’t suck” banner. That’s about as good as it gets for us Wiz fans

I haven’t been paying attention to the Warriors. Is Steph out?

They have the 5th best record in the league since December 17th behind the Sixers, Nuggets, Celtics, and Bucks.

Yes, mediocrity for eternity forever. Embrace it. It’s not so bad. A playoff appearance here and there and a series win or maybe two if we get super fortunate.

The team's offense is just humming right now.

Porzingis has 16 points on 7 shots in the first and we are ignoring him on offense now. Blow 15 point lead in the process.

WUJ is getting schooled here. Warriors find the mismatch on every possession (hunt, usually it’s whoever is being guarded by None). Wiz aimlessly dribble on the perimeter before jacking one or turning it over.

Hate that WUJ has basically benched Deni after a slow start offensively. Team was playing well with him, and its seems like the entire benching was based on starting 0-3 and then proceeds to get drubbed for the rest of the quarter as soon as he sends him to the bench. He played the least amount of minutes in the half but has the best plus minus. Nunn played double the minutes he played; there's something called defense, too.

I really think he has something against him . its not like Kispert started offensively better and just few games ago we all saw Deni sarting the game with 0-2 and finish with 10-12... bad coaching .really cant understand what he is thinking..

I don't think he has something against him, he just has a tendency to have a very short leash with him if he doesn't start the game off well offensively.

WUJ rotations have been awful tonight. Also took out Porzingis when he was cooking GS, sat him for extended time, then let the guards ignore him on offense when he's put back in. Staying with starters for too long when they've had their butt kicks after the hot start.
