My toxic trait is I now enjoy watching Beal make a fool of himself. Time to step away from watching.

Don't be so hard on yourself, it's one of purest forms of schadenfreude one can indulge in.

Chicago has overtaken us for 10th. We really need this loss before Detroit, no momentum.

I don't think you can start the Porzingis and Gafford lineup consistently. I'm all for playing the Twin Towers if the matchup up is right, but in the wrong matchup it is a killer because a) it take Porzingis away from his best defensive position (he played much better on defense at the beginning of the season) and b) they've been getting cooked together on defense.
This is a perimeter oriented league, unless you have a highly mobile center that can adjust their coverages, you are destroying your defense running two centers together. Neither Gafford or Porzingis are guys you want switched out on the perimeter together.

That all sounds plausible in theory. But the numbers say that the tandem has been very successful together - the most successful player pairing on the roster.

He been pretty darn good tonight, hasn't been a total liability on defense either.

I suspect those numbers are probably coming back down to earth and that the honeymoon period with it is over. It's not sustainable to keep playing. With that said, I'm all for it if we keeping it the thing, because our defense is swiss cheese with it and it will lead to more losses.

Kispert kept us in the first half when little to else was working.

This team is imploding before our eyes, as they should. Top 4 pick or bust!

Mid-three was terrible tonight. I don't care about them. I care about Deni getting better (he's not), Kispert (he is), Johnny Davis getting five minutes and not taking a shot. Bouyea looking like he's 28 and 150 pounds. Time to get some non-Covid illnesses to one of the mid-three and tank the rest of this season. Unfortunately, Detroit will just not play Ivey in the fourth quarter or something. I don't see us lose that game, but here's the rest of the schedule:
Detroit Win
at Cleveland loss
Sacramento loss
at Orlando loss
Denver loss
Spurs Win
at Toronto loss
Boston loss
Orlando win/loss (by then might give up)
at New York loss
Milwaukee loss
at Atlanta loss
Miami loss if Heat are still trying
Houston win because no chance Rockets try
So realistically, we could go 4-10. Don't think we'll get in the top 5, which would be great and would need luck, which we don't have. That would put us at 35-47. Not going to catch Orlando, Charlotte, Detroit, Houston or Spurs. But we should be in top 10, maybe top 6.

Yep. 6th in the lottery odds is the most likely outcome if we tank well. But we know Turd the clown is gonna push for that idiotic/elusive playin game until the end.
