Way worse...Once again we look awful. We traded away the better player on an expiring deal for one of the worst contracts in basketball and a 1st in 7 F'n Years...that may not even come to fruition.

Was really hoping a rebuilding team would buy low on Poole. This is exactly the kind of stuff Washington should be doing. Great pickup IMO and got a couple other assets on top of Poole.

I hate this trade unless we are getting more draft assets back. Poole is an albatross contract (4 years, 120)

Exactly. We aren’t married to Poole and thank God we didn’t trade Paul to the Lakers for a second rounder and ham sandwich. Poole is going to be a better Kuzma here.

So the Warriors found a team dumb enough to take Poole and take that horrible contract off their hands. Congrats to them.

I agree with Machu. As an outsider I love this trade for you. I felt Beal did you a bit dirty. 2030 is a long way out and no guarantee that'll be a midish first round, but you get Poole to showcase in a primary role for a full season. If you don't flip him right now right away, you can increase his value over the league for teams looking for a scoring punch.

That's potential for you guys to net a first or (if things go absolutely 100% positively) two for him over the course of the year. I really like this for you.

A ray of sunshine finally after so much grey clouds over the Wiz franchise. Jordan Poole maybe an entitled BB player after getting his money . But the Wiz have been going through nice guys over and over in their draft picks .....Thumbs up !

Don't like Poole. Don't get it for the rebuild unless they trade him again and anything is possible with Michael Tradewinger. I guess we're going for a competitive 25 win than a garbage 15.
