YOUR Washington Bullets are 6-28!!

Another night in January, another loss! The tank continues in Philly tonight. The 76ers have been having a sucky season to say the least but they have played better of late. They're in the Play-In mix and their new big 3 of Embiid, Maxey, and George haven't played together all that much.

That will continue tonight as Embiid (foot), Paul George (groin), Kyle Lowry (hip), KJ Martin (foot), are all out and Andre Drummond (toe) is questionable.

Jordan Poole and Malcolm Brogdon remain out. Kuzma is questionable with a calf. Alex Sarr is questionable due to illness. Bub Carrington is also questionable with a back injury.

I am sure JV is relieved that Embiid is out.

Team doesn’t look right tonight. This is getting ugly.

Just checked in. JV playing with the 1st team and Sarr is out. Nice start by Jared Butler. Our starters already have 6 turnovers to Philly's team total of 1.

One of the ugliest Wizards games of the season, and we had quite a few…

Richaud Holmes sighting! Butler went out while I was otherwise occupied and only played 8 minutes in the half but impressed statistically (I'm sort of ducking in and out of the game while doing 3 other things). JV with 10 rebounds, starting forwards Kuzma and George 1 each.

Starters 7 for 31 with 2 made 3-pointers. 0 for 2 from the line.
Bench 12 for 18 with 4 made 3-pointers. 4 for 5 from the line.

Butler is flat out better than Carrington right now and should get more minutes than he has.

There is something wrong with Bilal: lethargic, sloppy, lazy…

I think he should be getting George's minutes, actually. But if you want Bub to develop into a real point guard (which he really isn't right now), he needs to have the ball in his hands rather than the currently superior hands of Jared Butler.

This team is clearly designed to tank: turnover prone and extremely weak on the boards.

Fine with that. We are starting 2, sometimes 3, teenagers. Coach Keefe has told them not to worry about turnovers and playing it safe but to try to play with energy and creativeness. Despite our record, I think he's doing a good job developing the kids offensive games. Defensively, we suck, but again, with 3 teenagers plus Poole and Kuzma regularly starting, I don't think Larry Brown could get this team to be above average defensively.

Butler having a career night. A bright spark in a very ugly game.

26 points in less than 18 minutes

I would think some playoff teams would be interested in Butler. Maybe we could package him with one of the other guys to get that first round pick.

Comeback! Should I be rooting for the win or the tank?
