GT #68: WIZ @Jazz 9 pm 3/19/2025

Post#1 » by BearlyBallin » Wed Mar 19, 2025 9:02 am

An important game to lose if Washington hopes to out tank Utah. The Jazz have lost their last 10 games.

Wizards injuries:
Bey out knee
Brogdon out ankle
Bilial out hip
Kispert out thumb injury
Middleton out ankle
Smart out non covid illness
Poole doubtful elbow
George questionable knee

Jazz injuries:
Collins ankle out
Kessler rest out
Martin elbow out
Mykhailiuk foot out
Springer back out

Keep those fingers crossed for a Jazz victory…

Gotta go with the all Go Go lineup tonight and going forward. Need a nice 12 game losing streak

Kessler out for rest again is some BS. Time to bring back Johnny Davis. Show me some Eric Maynor and Ian Mahinmi. Fight fire with fire.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Agreed. But given our many casualties, Markinnen playing must mean the Jazz win this one, right?

This will be an epic, WWII style tank battle.

It’s basically a recreation of Battle of the Bulge

I'd favor the Wiz even if Lauri is playing. When a team gets in a mindset that they are just running out the season and they don't think the team cares about winning, it's going to have an effect on effort, particularly on defense. The wiz may be missing 3 or 4 of our PFs but if we outwork them, we will probably win.

And now according to this, Lauri Markkanen is out for "personal reasons"...

Silver should rig the lottery for the team that wins this game. This is ridiculous.

Betting heavily on Wizards losing this game.

There is no reason to win this game so let the young play and have fun.

AJ and Vuk get the start. Sarr at C & Vuk at PF?

I think that’s Cobley Jones on the right. He looks ripped. He was MVP of the NIT the year Xavier won it 2022?? Maybe??

The rookies need to get into the weight room with him during the offseason.

AJ is fun to watch but he really needs a sandwich.

I am curious to see what Sarr ends up shooting from 3 on the season after taking out his slow start. He looks pretty comfortable shooting them and isn't bothered by misses unlike a lot of other young guys I've seen
