GT #69: Magic @WIZ 7 pm March 21, 2025

Wizards are back in last place with the worse record in the NBA after losing their last two games on the road. Coach Keefe has expressed a desire to play the G-League/2-Way players for evaluation purposes. AJ Johnson has gotten 2 starts and Tristin Vukcevic started in Utah. Colby Jones, Jaylen Martin & JT Thor have played career high minutes with mixed results. Some fun steals, alley oops and dunks but also alot of turnovers, bricks and air balls. I’ve enjoyed watching the youngsters move the ball around and the vets cheering the Wiz Kidz on every steal and break away layup/dunk.

Love to see a coach and GM that are willing to play young guys . . . and now willing to play guys to evaluate rather then just sticking the vets out there night in and night out. The vets do seem to be classy about it from what I've read which is necessary to keep the enthusiasm high.

I'm not sure I see the Jazz winning many if any more games. Gotta Go Go to the max from here on out. Even too many minutes for Kyshawn could ruin the tank. It's time for him to develop a hangnail.

Disagree. Sit Poole, sit Middleton, sit Kispert, but not the rookies, they need the development time. Or experiment with 4 guard lineups then bringing in all our big men together with Kispert at PG. There are many ways to tank, grasshopper.

Why? The marching orders should say, "Troops shall follow tank tracks towards the cliff."

Yeah. When my dad passes, I'm gonna be out of commission for weeks.

Something to be optimistic for the future…

A front court of him and Flagg would be awesome…

Vuc had a reasonable game. He had a couple good moves to the basket, and some 3-ball going. His D is a little better but not quite average yet. I am torn over what to do with him after his contract is over. Does he make for a better PF than a C?

Unless playoff teams start resting their starters for the playoffs, Utah has no winnable games left, whereas TOR, PHL, & BRK "could" be competitive and winnable games for us, Utah will win the tank-off.
