GT #79: WIZ @Pacers 7pm 4/8/2025

Post#1 » by BearlyBallin » Mon Apr 7, 2025 8:34 pm

With a loss the Wizards remove any chance of the Pelicans passing them in a race for the second worst record. Last time they played the Pacers won by 53 points over the Wizards.

It would be nice to have a loss here since the threat of the 76ers losing to us the next game is a real possibility. The Philly tank has been impressive as they strive to keep their first round pick. (Protected 1-6)

Wizards need a Pacer win!

This is a trap game and a possible win. Guys might be super motivated after getting punked by Luke Cornholio.

I seriously doubt we win this game although IND is more or less locked into 4th
and might want to rest a few players.

Fun first quarter. Sarr looks...skilled? On it? A potential two-way monster?

After years of Wizards teams that didn't look like they were even trying to play defense, this is a refreshing change. They aren't always great at it, but it never looks like they're dogging it.

I just started watching, Sarr had a couple of nice finishes inside early. Good job keeping his pivot foot down on one of them.

Kieff trying hard to tank the game with an odd line up and 3 minutes left. Poole, Sarr and George off and Thor/Jones in.

The tank is strong- Wizards not using their timeouts, playing JT Thor in crunch time, and Bub Carrington playing 42+ minutes.
