Trump was on his way across the Atlantic to Davos last night when Airforce One mysteriously turned around and headed back, my entire bloosky timeline was like "OMG IT HAPPENED" but it turned out to be "an electrical issue."

oh also, I called for Democratic leaders to step up and lead protests by having a war room that tells protesters where ICE raids are happening so they can send volunteers to film and document what is happening. Some bluesky lawyers have pointed out that there's a difference between documenting for the purpose of letting the public know what is happening, and documenting in a way that is useful as criminal evidence. There has to be a data collection effort, all the film has to be collected and labeled and categorized and made searchable, someone has to be in charge of that.

Well, after Tim Walz spoke out against ICE in Minnesota the DOJ is going to try to prosecute him for obstructing ICE, just like that judge in Wisconsin got convicted for trying to help an immigrant escape. The Republicans know how dangerous organized protest by the Democrats would be, which just says to me how important it is to go ahead and do it despite the Nazis' opposition to it
