I feel good about this one. CB and AJ should come out motivated.
The youngs being separated should help the Vets get them ramped up for a rebound form a tough loss.
Hopefully Haywood comes in confident after a great game against Yao.
The rest will come down the same thing it always does, EJ, line ups and rotations.
Will he give us the best chance to win or get in the way?
Oh, I've been wanting to post this for a while. I always notice that Haywood hardly hardly ever wins the tap. He is just a slow leaper. That means we get one less possession per game just on the tap alone. One other reason in a long list to starting
AD, CB, AJ, AB, BH would be nice. We could let AB do the jump.
I also noticed Yao came out at like the 4-5 min mark in the first. Not sure if this is what Houston usually does or it was just foul trouble. I wish we would stagger our rotation more instead of playing all the starters the whole first quarter. I had when EJ bring in 3 bench players all at once. Id rather it be 1 or 2.
I'm going to start the count of opening taps won and lost by Haywood.

Wow, now that was interesting.
BH gets a stupid 2nd foul, we play Songaila for a while and then we get an OP appearance. Then it's OP and AB.
The feeling of having that one extra big body is very comforting. It kind of changes everything. We have so many more options now. Lots of big combinations.
So EJ looks like he is mixing it up which I like. We look kind of out of sync and disorganized in some of those new line ups but that is to be expected.
I love that we are keeping their scoring down. +/- is all that matter to me. Well, that and the W that follows.
I'm excited to see how this team grows with the additional of OP. It may be ugly for a little while but we should see some better rebounding and better D while we are getting their. I think AB playing along side another big will allow he to play his game a little more. He isn't a straight up center so the extra big allows he to get from under the post more and even when under there he doesn't have to bang as much so he can slash.
I look for more AB follow up dunks.
