Heck, it could be that the C's didn't actually expect anyone to run with them and his presence may have ultimately caused the mistake.

That was a great effort play. The Wizards had a bunch of effort plays today.

-Jamison delivered a block with a hard foul on Tony Allen. Never would have happened before this season.

-Caron tried to dunk on KG.

Blatche threw the ball away but ran down court to disrupt a fast break going the other way.

Haywood traded hard fouls with Perkins, who's a big dude.

Blatche never backed down from KG and made him work.

DeShawn was a beast defensively, but that's been his game lately.

Great game tonight.
Bye bye Beal.

I'll go with Stevenson as well for his great defense on Ray and his clutch free throws. However, I almost gave it to TJ for his good D on Pierce, his clutch steals, and finally, the will he exudes on the rest of his teammates. I think Caron plays with a swagger that is infectious to the rest of the team. I think Caron not backing down from Pierce gave the rest of the team the will to do everything it took to shut the Celtics up.

Actually, I was wondering on the way home how Gilbert is viewing Caron's rise to stardom. Is it possible the Caron, instead of Gilbert, will be the most beloved player in this city? I think everyone will still love Gilbert for his quirkeness and ability to score huge amounts. But, you also got to love Caron for his toughness and all around game. Personally, I think the Wizards are becoming Caron's team, which might not be a bad thing as long as Gilbert doesn't get jealous and use it as an excuse to leave the city.

Gotta be DS. Key grab of the ball right at the end and 5-5 FT shooting in the last 1:15 that iced the game. Combine that with being our leading scorer for the evening, and its tough to vote for anyone else.

Though I also want to give it to AD for that one clutch 3 at 1:51 that gave us the lead. Ice water baby.

I went with DS but it really was a great team win

clutch FT shooting and the fact that he outscored Ray Allen.
