For more feel good stuff, here's what Knick's board fans had to say post game:

We gave 36.

johnnywishbone wrote:I think it's all pace. We are the oldest team, they are the youngest. Instead of slowing the game down and punishing them inside we went with our normal 28 3s (made 1/3 of them) and we let them make this into a foot race.
Bye bye Beal.

Sure and it was a fluke that when John came back Beal shot 60% from 3. And a fluke that since then Webster has found his 3pt shot, etc etc. The Knicks were collapsing all game to double JWall since they had no one fast enough to guard him, that leaves open shots outside. In the NBA even career-mediocre shooters can hit an open shot at a nice clip. Could just be that this team is better when John Wall is healthy, feeling good, and attacking the interior.

On December 19, 2012, Orlando beat the Wizards. Orlando's record was 12-13. Washington's record was 3-20.

Last night, the Wizards crushed the Nets and Orlando fell to Cleveland. Washington is now 14-35. Orlando is 14-36.

Washington now has a better record than Orlando! :o

(Orlando is just 2-23 since that December win over Washington.)
Bye bye Beal.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nene-wizar ... --nba.html

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Over the last month, the Washington Wizards have put together a body of work at home worthy of comparison with any of the best teams in the NBA.

The Wizards capped an impressive three-game homestand Friday night with an 89-74 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. The team with the third-worst record in the NBA has won eight of nine at the Verizon Center - a stretch in which they've taken down Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Chicago, New York and the Los Angeles Clippers.

For the record, it's 14-35, with the Wizards leapfrogging Orlando into 13th place in the Eastern Conference with Friday's win. After playing much of the season without John Wall, Nene and assorted other injured players, Washington's roster is finally close to full health and is starting to excel at the hardest part of the game: defense.

Imagine this. Verizon right now is a place no visiting team wants to play! Washington is one of the league's best defensive teams!
Bye bye Beal.
