Wizards Improved Free Throw Shooting

Post#1 » by Chocolate City Jordanaire » Tue Jan 15, 2008 6:49 pm

The last three games, all wins against ATL and BOS (2), the Wizards have shot .917, .900, and .900.

For the season, Washington's now third (as of 1/15) at .801. (Linked are several team rankings, with the Wizards FT ranking listed at the top line).

Here are the results of games the Wizards have shot 80% or better. (14 wins, 6 losses).

The team shot .762 (11th overall) on FTs last season.

Haywood getting better and Caron getting to the line more often, and of course Dave Hopla all reasons for the improvement.

DeShawn Stevenson's also been very clutch at the line.
Bye bye Beal.

Yeah, the Wiz two wins over the Beanies does remind me of the two Detroit games last year... this is why the LSBF tries to keep an even keel... even though it's damn hard to not just say wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
