last time Caron was on fire and no one could stop him. At the time, the mavs were on a losing streak I believe but it was the period when they were playing badly. Dirk did fine, but the team as a whole shot a lousy 39% compared to 50% for the wizards. Also I remember a Nick Young guy abusing us with easy layups.

Uh oh. Looks as thought we're gonna have it difficult on Sunday. Based on judging our opponents by their dance team, here are a few of the Dallas Mavs Dancers.

Meet Crystal

Image

Crystal is originally from Brownsville, TX. She loves to dance, read books, take pictures, cook (I just started, so far so good!), watch movies with family and friends, and shopping (shoes and bags are my favorite things to buy).

Meet Jessica

Image

Jessie, as her friends call her, is from Grand Prairie, TX. She likes dancing, working out, spending time with loved ones, shopping and reading magazines.

Meet Maya

Image

Maya hails from Jackson, Mississippi. She likes dancing, writing, reading and shopping.

I'm with hand11. Tough win, with the early start giving us an edge (due to time zone change and short rest for the Mavs) along with our home court advantage. My biggest concern is that our player most physically well-suited to guard Dirk (namely, Andre) will bite on way too many pump fakes and get into quick foul trouble.

I'm DVRing it and watching tonight.

I've been watching a couple Mavs games recently, and Devin Harris is a big time flopper, Daniels needs to be careful.

Mavs should be fired up for this one considering we beat them in their place. I like their chances in this one especially considering the Wizards get blown out at home by good teams (VS Houston, VS Golden St, VS Orlando, VS Detroit, VS Denver) with the exception of the Celtics game.

I'm glad Haywood took it out on that board to set up the Stevenson 3. I bet he wanted to go in there with a hook shot but smart play.

We've been taking some awful shots today. Shots that are completely out of the flow of the offense.

Why is Darius guarding Dirk?

Pecherov handled and ran the court pretty well.

Young just hit with a chance at a 4 pt play.
Bye bye Beal.

Pesh has a huge size advantage over the guy guarding him, pity EJ isn't taking advantage of it.

Interestingly, EJ has Antawn at SF with Songaila and Blatche in the game.
Bye bye Beal.

Jamison's been invisible this game. ... Check that. He's got boards a steal and a block.

Dallas is second in the west but so far the teams are evenly matched.
Bye bye Beal.

very solid half with some nice shot-making by DS, songaila and young. just need to limit their open looks from 3 and protect the defensive glass and should be looking at a victory.
