Good news, thought I'd post it
Arenas targets a March 1 return
The Associated Press
Article Last Updated: 01/18/2008 10:55:38 PM PST
Gilbert Arenas says Friday he expects to be ready to return from knee surgery by March 1.
Washington has won four of its past five games to improve to 21-17, despite playing without injured All-Star Arenas (Grant High of Van Nuys) since November. He said he's been pain-free since having a second operation on his left knee and he thinks he can be "mentally and physically ready" to return in about 1 months.

We're gonna get creamed.
BTW, 1 month isn't March 1st. That's after the break.

Well, we're at home. We're rested. And both Caron and Antawn are on hot streaks, while the bench is playing well.
I think it'll be pretty close. Maybe not a win, but an entertaining game.

It all comes down to defense. In years pass that has meant a loss. Not so sure what it means at this point in time.

How did we beat Dallas earlier in the season anyway?

This sucks. I'll be traveling on the road (for work) during the game. I won't be able to watch it or listen to it. I guess I'll be checking the box score on my Treo as I'm driving.
I wonder if I'll be able to stream the audio with Microsoft Explorer Mobile.

Yeah, I'm coming up hazy on that one too. Just how the hell did we beat them this year? I don't remember a single aspect of the game. Was Dirk playing??

He was, indeed. Though he had a sub-par game, from what I remember. Also, the Mavericks were just not playing well at all, at the time.
They've since turned it around (as expected) and are a completely different team. Nowitzki has gone from being a 17ppg scorer (as he was at the start of the season) to a 24ppg scorer and dominant offensive player (as he has been basically his entire career).
However, despite all of their problems, they were the ones at home, and we were on the road. Yet we still beat them handily.

Nice to see GA has confirmed what the RealGM Wiz board already figured out.
Rack up a tough W. A rested, focused, motivated Wiz team will win.
West coast team Dallas in Washington Monday at 1PM. That is what 11am their time.
We are coming off a win and 2 days rest. If we are going to get them it doesn't look any better then this.
Look for Wiz vs Boston lock down style D.

If I can recall correctly, we beat Dallas by playing one of our best games of the season. I'm hazy on the details like most here, but it was one of those games where everything just clicked, and to an outside observer, we looked like the far superior team.

From what I remember, Dallas just kept jacking 3's but they just weren't falling that day. Usually they hit a lot of 3's, but they died by it when we played them.
