It's unfair, but I half expect Butler to have the type of game he's had today. Steven-SON on the other is the dark horse. He kept the pressure on the Mavericks by making long jumpers and absolutely killed them in the 4th when Dallas was starting to mount a comeback.

Had Jamison not been brickin' it so much through the first two and a half quarters he'd also deserve a look.

Stevenson is my lock for POtG.

I also voted for DeShawn.

Eddie Jones was hardly noticed. DeShawn picked up Howard and slowed him in the third. Stevenson's playing better defense than just about anyone in the league.

Not only that, but on offense some of the threes Stevenson made were from the parking lot.

Deshawn was key towards the end of the game but Butler's stats don't lie. Even though I thought he was forcing some one-on-one stuff there was no doubt that he was the best player on the floor today....even better than Dirk or Howard

Stevenson finished the Mavs off, but Caron got us to the point where DeShawn could do so.

1. Caron Butler - monster night, crucial buckets, big boards, timely passes, all-around great game.

2. DeShawn Stevenson - The finisher

3. Antawn Jamison - Consistent, solid effort. Had a couple big threes down the stretch and, for a period in the 3rd - 4th, he dominated the offensive boards.

I didn't expect it to be quite as unanimous, but I too vote for the Locksmith.

He is just Hibachi from downtown there is no better word to describe it - HIBACHI.

The 2nd place goes to Butler and the 3rd to Jamison. They both very key in our 16-4 run to close the 3rd quarter. Very solid games from both of them.

But other than those three, we had plenty of nice games from the rest of the guys. A quality win and a team win.

I'm in love with this team.

I didn't see the game, but from the box score, it's Caron. That's one heck of a line.

Ha. I just noticed the "DeBargain Stevenson" in WizStorm's post. Hopefully, he'll continue to be throughout the life of his contract.

Caron was awesome yet again, but I'm going with Mr. 50 today for POTG. He hit some big threes in the 4th.

We has seven turnovers as a team, as compared to 22 assists and 16 forced Dallas turnovers.

I will take Caron's +8 in that made up statistic (5 assists, 5 steals, 2 turnovers) for POTG.

1. Butler - 5 steals really helped.
2. Antawn - answered J. Howard bucket for bucket during a crucial stretch.
3. DeShawn - crazy 3 pt shooting
4. write in - TEAM

CBSSportline.com ranks Caron as the second best small forward in the league behind Lebron.

Unbelievable.

As nice as that is, he shouldn't be ahead of Carmelo (IMO).

As one of the people that really pushed Navarro to D.C and bashed Debrick. I'm finally ready to eat crow. Yup, as it stands now, DeBargain is underpaid. I'm sorry D-money.

+1

EDIT: But in our defense, his defense this season has been phenomenal. He was decent last season, but nothing spectacular. Oddly enough, after he got his contract was when the defensive switch turned from good to lock-down.

Yea that's even more impressive, considering the amount of quality power forwards in the NBA.

I am not a fan of Jamison, but he has played spectacular basketball this season.

I hope these efforts continue when Gilbert gets back.
