I'll be there, rooting for the Wizards, even though I still desire the Escort.

Man, Pau has really **** up teeth.

Oh, yeah, and the Wizards will win, prompting the board to dissolve into discussion of how we'll win the championship once Arenas is back on board.

Until the next time we lose.

we should bounce back from the bad loss in Cleveland. Butler has the mentality that should spread throughout the team to keep playing tough (i can't find a better word than using TJ's nickname).

we won't play horrible for 2 games in a row, because we're not a bad team. we're a solid team that's above .500 without our #1 player playing. how many other teams can say that? Lakers? no. Cavs? no. Dallas? no. Miami? no. and so on..... we're still a good team even with our #1 out. We can beat anyone in this league any night, which i've come to know since those 2 wins against Boston. Memphis should be an easy win, but we can't take them lightly.

wiz win by 8, Butler with 35.

well, we were a team that (until the wins at Boston) had been feasting on the weakest schedule in the league...

so we'll see...

I'm assuming that wins at Boston were not a fluke and this is actually a pretty good team. But didn't memphis kick our butts last time? Didn't jcn like score 25 points on us?

Memphis is a perimeter-oriented team. Navarro and Miller will most likely light it up against us.

The key is that we'll be at home and mad after an embarrassing loss to a conference rival.

Washington: 98
Memphis: 92

When we lost to them before, we were on the road and it was the second half of a back-to-back (though, admittedly, for both teams). Memphis is 4-16 on the road. I think we can brush off the ugly loss to Cleveland, but if we follow it up with a home loss to Memphis, I'll start to worry.

Right now, I am not worried. I predict a solid win, though not a blow-out. Something like 104-92, holding a lead through the entire 4th quarter.

Man, I wish I could watch the game tonight...I got a gig.

I head on Sports Talk 980 that Pau and Juan were having quite a special day in the streets of DC...

From the Insider thread

I love how all the stevenson lovers disappear unless he has one of those rare great games. I would still take Navarro over him anyday. He puts up better #'s in less minutes and has games where he's just unstoppable.

"Guess who's heating up again? Yep, it's JC Navarro, with four 20-plus point scoring games in a recent eight-day stretch. He made 23-of-38 3s in that span and shot over 50 percent from the field."

Stevenson gets hot but not like that

I haven't seen the escort play, so I look forward to checking out his game tonight.

Don't forget for you guys who life out of the DC market. According to my listings on DirecTV, they're still in free preview mode until Jan 27th. So if you're out of town, you'll be able to watch the game.

LOL. Apparently, great games can only take place on one end of the floor. There's this little thing called defense, and rumor is that playing some of it can have a pretty good effect on the outcome of a game.

I think it'd be nice to have em both. That's what I thought would originally have happened at the beginning of the season....but no, Juan only wants to play with his buddy...
