Perimeter defense will be very important tomorrow night.

As much as I want to say we'll win, I just don't trust our 3pt defense at all.

Milwaukee: 105
Washington: 99

Butler has a huge game, though.

This is where DeShawn has to earn his money. Milwaukee can make this a tough game if Redd goes off. DS needs to get in his jersey and shut him down.

Poor hard-nosed, blue-collar Larry Krystkowiak, saddled with a team like the Bucks. If I'm remembering correctly, he was a player on this one Bucks team in the late '80s or very early '90s that had a fantastic regular season, rolling over teams with this huge front line featuring guys like Fred Roberts and Brad Lohaus, Frank Brickowski and Jack Sikma and Danny Schayes. All scrappy guys who, with the exception of Lohaus and possibly Roberts, were better than the big-stiff label that tends to be applied to 6-9" and 6'10" white guys with flat-tops that make their heads look like perfect squares.

Special K will probably get fired soon and be put out of his misery, but he deserves to have a real good team to coach.

Oh, yeah, Wizards win this one, but not by much. It will be under 10.

Don't forget guys, it's on CSN+ at an odd time (6:00 p.m. EST).

If you're out of market, I think this is the last day of the NBA League Pass free preview. So you out-of-staters (Nate, Severn) enjoy.

Also, DirecTV guys, CSN+ is channel 659.

Hehe, you've got a good memory of those old Bucks bigs. They certainly weren't gifted, but 2 of them - the Krystko kid and Brickowski - were more skilled than given credit for.

Howevuh, it's true that K is no Coach K. He appears to be over his head, though he has made a positive change in focusing the offense more on Bogut. Until the last game - where they folded like a cheap mothball riddled Armani knockoff - Bogut had a great month of January, and the team's play picked up some. Redd and Williams - you never know if they'll play really well or really poorly. If they both play well, Milwaukee is actually a pretty good team. Charlie V and Yi are similarly inconsistent at the 4, while Simmons has been consistently poor at the 3 mixed in with an occasional ok game.

Milwaukee on any given day can play really well; they just don't do it often. And they tend to give up if they get off to a bad start. Either Washington wins by 35, or Milwaukee wins by 10.

The reason I remember the Bucks bigs is that I was a kid at the time, maybe 10 years old, and my beloved Bullets were getting flattened by them every time we played. I also used to have some of these "Pro Basketball Yearbooks" edited by Zander Hollander that listed every player with photos and these hilarious insider descriptions of the players. As a result, I've got a great memory for players from the late '80s.

Jay Murphy, anyone?

This is a revenge game for the Bucks today, they had a beat-down in DC w/o Redd.

We've played pretty crappy of-late, I see Redd draining three's from every spot today. We need monster games from our duo to win today.

The Bucks have been improving lately, from being strictly a jump-shooting team with no defense.

They still don't play good defense, but can score in bunches when there on.

The Wiz need to get the ball in the paint often and control the pace. This should be more than enough to win. If the Wiz can play good defense, then it should be a blow-out win.

I don't understand this line at all. Wizards opened as 2 point favorites and the line has moved down to 1. We already beat the Bucks in a blowout in Milwaukee once. We have gotten better since then and they continue to play worse. With that being said, Vegas must know something. Wizards should win easily but something doesn't feel right.

Milwaukee 98 Washington 93

If all goes right today, the Magic will lose to the Celtics, we'll win against the Bucks, and the lead for Orlando will be just 1 game.

But we have to take care of business, above all else.
