Tough. Sentimental vote for Dmac's first legit NBA quality game. Let this be the first of many.
Jamison with 20 boards. Oh yes momma

Andray had a tough, tough game. Best this year. Hard to choose between him and Deshawn, who is continuing to show his drastically improved defense.

24-20? how could it be anyone else?

I give it to Dominic. He kept a lot of possesions alive, helped drain the clock out and took away momentum from the Raps.
Hopefully this was his breakout game. We badly need rebounding and toughness from the bench. Besides Blatche, we got no good tough minded players.

I am giving the first place to Jamison - he is something else - too many times have i not credited him for 20/10 games and tonight he had 20/20 without 2 of the biggest offensive threats on the team. I'm loving his game this season.
2nd place goes to Blatche played some nice defense, but more importantly was the key piece in our run to start the 2nd half...played well and smart with foul trouble.
3rd place - Sentimental value helps him beat the rest of the guys to this spot. His offensive rebounds were absolutely amazing. It is not like he just got them...half of them he fought hard for and got us the ball when it seemed we had no business having it.
The most honorable mentions: LOCKSMITH...I was very happy with him last season, mostly because for his salary he was great, now he is getting paid 4 times more and surprisingly I am even more happy about us having him - talk about clutch 3pt shooting.
Roger Mason - That lucky bounce was awesome. Damn...I shouted "YESS" out so loud that I must have woke the whole neighborhood. 6 assists is also very nice.
Daniels didn't really shine for most of the game, but late in games he often makes the most important shots and takes it on him to get the teams score up. Clutch free throw shooting.

1. Blatche - had a slow start but once he got into it played very good and was imo the difference in the game. but he may want to wear a cup tomorrow night.
2. Mason - timely shooting, good passing and heady play
3. McGuire - brought down some huge boards

1. McGuire - as someone else mentioned, this is a sentimental vote. This was his "Oh hey, I gues I AM an NBA player" game. 10 rebounds and most of them couldn't have been more timely. Without DOM, we don't win in overtime.
2. Jamison - should probably be 1st, but hey, I'm sentimental. Any way you look at it, 24/20 is just ridiculous. The only thing keeping him at #2 is his near-30% fg shooting.
3. Blatche - for a period of time in the 2nd, he absolutely took over. I'm talking Kobe-style (it's just that Kobe does it for 40 minutes per game). Big game for AB and he probably saved the game for us, seeing as it would have been blowout city without his 2nd quarter spurt.

1. Deshawn- Clutch 3 pointer after Clutch 3 pointer. He even had a few nice drives to the basket tonight.
2. Blatche- Breakout game. He was hitting the outside jumper and causing havoc down low. He also played some pretty good defense.
3. Jamison- His rebounds are awesome but it's hard to vote him any higher because I still feel he takes way too many bad shots. If he learns better shot selection I would appreciate him so much more.

meh, blatche is beyond the "breakout" game stage. He needs to start having games like this on a consistent basis.

Team win.
Stevenson finished +13 and slowed Calderon, along with hitting 5 threes for my fantasy team. He probably should get it. But can't ignore the 20/20 game for AJ.
Jamison is who I voted for simply because he played 51 minutes was still all over the boards at the end, finishing with 24 and 20. On that tap in he beat Bosh to the ball. I voted for him.
Could have voted for Blatche, in his second-best game or Dominic in his best.
Could even mention EJ made the right moves today.

How can you not give it to AJ he had a 20 and 20 game, but Blatche is a close second because he started us out in the third when he was on fire, and that really hbelp us gain momentum...
1.Jamison
2.Blatche
3. Tie between D-Stevie and Mason

P.S. I left out Dom McGuire, he was a monster in the second half on the boards, but he didn't have some critical TO's near the end of regulation...

Very tough choice. They needed everyone tonight. I guess Jamison.
Blatche, Stevenson, and McGuire made big contributions.
Daniels with key buckets and FTs at the end.
While not POTG candidates, Haywood and Mason also had very solid games.

1. Dominic McGuire
2. Antawn Jamison (hustle on the boards, FG % was ugly)
3. DeShawn Stevenson

1. Jamison kinda disappeared down the stretch offensively. but I can't front on 24-20--especially vs a team with a tall, athletic front court. I'll give it up to Jamison.
2. DMac's hustle was...dare I say it? *Ruffin-esque*.

Hopefully, he can build on this performance--if he can continue to display that kind of nose for the ball while adding a steady 18 footer to his repetoire, he'll make a nice living for himself in this league.
3. Blatche in the first half was amazing. It was like one of those once-in-a-blue-moon games Kwame used to give us and everyone would be dreaming big dreams afterwards ("maybe he'll flip the switch and turn into the best PF in the game," etc.). I think that Blatche's upside is severely limited by his lack of explosiveness going to the rim (how many dipsy-doo reverse layups can one 7 footer attempt? He needs those calf-muscle strengthening platform shoes in the worst way), but he made up for it with the Dream-on-Admiral up and under drop step, and that sweet finger roll over Bosh.

Some interesting stats from the game
Raptors Wizards
Turnovers: 8 13
Fast Break Pts: 12 0
Biggest Lead: 10 12
Unanswered Pts: 0 2
Points in the Paint: 30 42
Gotta go with D-Mac for game MVP, he provided crucial hustle and energy when we needed it.
