I just saw a preview for the new Coke commercial tonight, and it was based in DC and you see Stevenson or Arenas hit a shot and then you hear in the background....DAGGER!!!!!

I thought that was pretty cool.

First of all, (even forgetting that the Wizards were in the commercial) that was the best SB commercial, IMO.

BTW: Was that Bill Frist (along with Carville)?

you know what's funny about the DeShawn part in that commercial, the stands are basically empty. if it's that close of a game, no one's gone. good commercial, but I'd have to say that my favorite was the Doritos commercial with the mouse trap

Doritos commercial FTW. Luckily, I have purposely ignored politics for 5 years now so I have no idea who Bill Frist is..........Carville I remember when I cared.

Live the life of blissful political ignorance. If you must vote, ask your smartest friends' opinions a few weeks before the election. Let them do the hard work for you. Focus your energy on making money and having fun.

Wise words on how to avoid unneeded stress.

I love it when commercials put DC on the map. When it started, and they were showing them walking around DC, I was like "they better show the wiz or the skins."

It's quite nice to see another like me :) Political ignorance truly is blissful, at least judging from how worked up it seems to make most people around me.

As for the commercial, it was too cool seeing "Dagger!" on national television.

Great advice. But when the time comes, just make sure you ask me, SevernHoos, Cramer or Greendale. We'll tell you who to vote for.

It was obviously audio spliced onto video. DeShawn has never hit a game winning, buzzer-beater for the Wiz.

I believe that was Buckhantz's call of Arena's biggest dagger yet... his buzzer beater against the Bulls in game 5. It definitely was audio of one of Arena's game winners.

I guess they couldn't use Arenas' likeness in the commercial? DeShawn must have come pretty cheap.
