Actually, I hope EJ is smart enough to use size to take advantage of them not having Marion & Shaq, we could easily abuse them inside with the AB/BTH tandem.

I think we're going to lose this one, but I wouldn't be shocked if it went our way. No Butler vs. No Marion may actually be a slight advantage for us. No Daniels, if he can't play, hurts. I'd take the ball right at Stoudamire, who's hardly known for his defense. Slow it down, belly up on their three-point shooters, turn this into a grind-it-out game. That's our best chance.

Also, either Mason or DeShawn has to be hitting outside shots for us.

Doesn't sound like AD or CD will suit up.

Neither Caron Butler (strained left hip flexor) nor Antonio Daniels (right ankle soreness) went through the full shootaround this morning and it appears that both players could be out tonight against the Suns. Andray Blatche, who has been stacking up double-doubles as a starter, would get the nod for Butler once again and Roger Mason Jr. would likely start for Daniels.

If Daniels can't go, rookie Nick Young should get a chance to log some heavy minutes and tonight would be as good a time as any for Young to bust out with a big game. He turned in a solid effort the other night in the loss at Denver with 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting.

I think it's safe to say this will be Loss #7 in a row. Oh well, there's always next season.

^^ That's good. Heck, I wouldn't be opposed to sitting them till after All-Star weekend, including holding Caron out of the ASG. It's not like we're winning games with half-a Caron Butler and half-a Daniels anyway.

Phoenix has only Sean Marks and Brian Skinner to deal with Brendan Haywood, Andray Blatche and Nick "Tomahawk Dunk" Young. Jamison should drop 30 on Phoenix and they have absolutely no answer for Haywood or Blatche.

This game comes down to not collapsing inside on Nash and just making him beat the Wizards as a scorer. Unfortunately, I doubt they'll do anything other than collapse inside on Amare and leave Bell and Barbosa wide open and get destroyed, but the Wizards have the advantage if Eddie coaches well.

This will come down to coaching and it's been a while since Eddie coached them up.

The Wiz have been giving up oodles of layups/easy dunks lately. The Suns should do the same thing. Over/Under 25 Phoenix dunks/layups?

Same, no sense in rushing them back if there is a chance they could worsen their respective injuries. If we have to cough up a few more losses, then so be it. The important thing is to hover around .500 until they are healthy and until Gil returns. That will put us in a much better position to make a run down the stretch when everyone is full strength.

CCJ is right. Phoenix is paper thin right now without Banks and Marion, and without Shaq. This game is definitely winnable if we can get Stoudemire into foul trouble.

It'll be a tough game for PHX w/o Marion...the key is which Diaw shows up, the 05-06 beast, the 06-07 pathetic excuse for a player. This year his performances vary wildly between the two on a game by game basis.
