Caron Butler did not participate in shootaround this morning but did some shooting. Yesterday, Coach Eddie Jordan said the all-star forward would "probably" miss his seventh straight game with that strained left hip flexor. Jordan said that he'd like see Butler go through a full practice and then determine his status after seeing how the hip responds after that practice. Remember, Caron practiced Monday but woke up stiff and sore Tuesday morning and couldn't go against the Knicks.
It's hard to tell when the Wiz will have a full practice because Jordan typically gives them a day off after a back-to-back (they host Charlotte tomorrow night) and they have games at New Orleans Monday night and Houston Tuesday night. The first real practice could be Thursday in Chicago. I imagine that Caron could get on the court and test himself Sunday and then see what's up for Monday's game but we'll see.
Antonio Daniels (sore right ankle) did participate in shootaround and will be a "game-time" decision. My status is just as iffy. Flights are all messed up and I'm hoping to get out of DC in time but it's up in the air. What's weird is that it's not even that nasty out. In Minnesota, we call this spring.

It's going to be the Lebron show tonight, he may look to score 83.

2 of those 8 are fresh signees from the D-League and have never played for the Cavs. It would be utterly demoralizing if we lost this game tonight. We HAVE to get up early in this one.
