Damn, this is a hard one. I'm going with Twan. He looks like he's finally getting his jumpshot back.

Pretty clearly, Jamison set the tone early and Jamison was on fire during the 19-0 run late in the game.

At the same time Jamison was on fire, and DeShawn started getting into the act, Brendan completely took both West and Chandler out of their games. Haywood even helped force a couple turnovers on Paul.

Brendan deserves an honorable mention.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

1. Jamison- He hit outside shots and played good D.

2. Deshawn- Big 4th quarter with a couple of Dagger 3s.

3. Haywood- He really turned it on in the 4th and made some really big plays on defense.

This was a team effort though. Young hit shots and got some boards, Opec hit 2 big threes, D-mac was active all-around, Blatche did some good things, Songaila was solid, etc.

1. Jamison, easily. Maybe his most complete game of the year. I really liked his defense tonight. He did everything right out there.

2. Haywood. We won the game because of that 19-0 run in the 4th. Haywood had a heck of a lot to do with the "0" part of the 19-0 run. He completely shut down West and Chandler while getting into their heads.

3. Daniels. It's really a toss up between AD, Stevenson and Songaila but I'm going to go with Daniels here. I thought his defense on Paul was pretty darn good except for a lapse in the 3rd quarter. The bottom line is that Paul ended up with just 16 points and 8 assists, with 6 turnovers. Nice job AD.

I gave it to Wood, he was just a beast on D in the fourth, Twan a very, very close second with a hot shooting night from him, its bout damn time...

1. Coaching staff. Contributions across the bench, defensive schemes, controlling tempo, sweeping N'awlins, giving them their only road loss against an eastern Conference team.

2. Jamison.

3. Haywood.

man another impressive win. Who knows when Butler and Arenas are coming back but if we can keep gutting out wins till they do that'll be impressive. Jamison has got to get mad props for holding this thing together. You take Kob,Lebron,Mello ..or any top player off their teams and lets see how they do....not that Arenas is in a class with Kobe or Lebron but he's our best player. We have no bussiness beating anyone without Butler or Arenas so any win to me is a great effort!

If we get a healthy Arenas and Butler back come playoff time things could be fun

Yea that was a masterful performance by Eddie and Randy.

Song also did a helluva job keeping West from getting easy looks.

Beat me to it.

Driving home from the game I was anticipating posting them exact same words - Antawn Jamison, mutha f'n captain.

I'm going with the DS's for 2nd and 3rd (DS2 and DS9, respectively).

Honorable mention goes to the team for taking care of the ball - 7 turnovers is impressive. (Speaking of TO's does anyone else cringe when AB tries to run point on a break. I saw both of his TO's coming a mile away).

^^^ I don't cringe when he tries to play point guard on a fast break, so long as he stops when he gets to the free throw line. Past that, he can't be trusted to make a good decision. But that will come in time (I hope).

i was watching the game from section 108 and i realized that is was actually stevenson who got this team on the fast train to winville. He came back in the game with antawn, drove haard to the bastket, sunk two free throws and took control of the game even if it was just for a short moment. This lit a fire under everybody **s and they got buckets, man!

POG: Stevenson, not his statline, but his heart and spirit!

I'm going to throw this one to Tawn. Everyone played well, but in order to beat a good team, we need either someone have a huge game or have are one star player have a good game. In this case, Jamison stepped up as the leader that he should be and shot decently at 50% from the field.

how can it not be antawn? an efficient 28 points and the team followed his lead, he did everything you could ask of him tonight.

second is deshawn because when he checked back in when the game was 76-74, he scored 4 quick ones and just had more energy than anyone on the court.

third is brendan, would've been second but he missed all them FTs. but he out chandlered chandler tonight. chandler may have the better numbers in the box score, but it was brendan who made his mark on the game with his aggressive play and late work on the offensive boards.
