The Charlotte Bobcats (22-39)
Match-up of the Night
vs.
Jason Richardson had a field day on our porous perimeter defense last time these two teams met. He hit 3 after 3, and totally dominated the game for his team. Jamison, on the other hand, will probably be pretty tired, considering he played 45 big minutes against in the Wizards last game against the Raptors. Question 1 is -- Will Jamison be the one assigned to guard Richardson, or will Stevenson get those honors, leaving Antawn to guard Matt Carrol? Question 2 is -- if Jamison is given the assignment of Richardson, can he possibly stay in front of J-Rich? However, Richardson's advantage on one end becomes Jamison's advantage on the other, as he should be able to post up Richardson easily, and effectively.
GO WIZARDS!

Ohhhhh, this is going to be hard if AJ's back acts up on him, and he'll be tired too. Hope we can pull it out against them.
Isn't it snowing in Toronto now? Is the team gonna make it back?

Look at our next 7 games, 2 of them are against teams playing above .500 (Cleveland and Orlando).
Quite frankly, this is a must win. We'd be back at .500, but more importantly, if we can go 4-2 before the West Coast trip, we'd be 34-33 and we might get Gil back before then. Not to mention that the actual west coast games aren't that bad (Lakers, Jazz are probably losses, but possible wins against Seattle, Portland, and Sacramento).
Tomorrow's game is a lot more important than we realize IMO.

What's the word on Gerald Wallace? Is he going to return from his concussion? The Wiz usually have huge problems covering him in the low post - which is why it kinda surprised me when they traded for Nazr - since he plays in the low post - forcing Wallace to become more of a perimeter player - and he has a tendency to brick an awful lot of jumpers.
Oh, Stevenson's gotta cover JRich.

This one kind of worries me. Actually, I'm just worried period since the list of injured players now includes AJ.
Back to Back and now AJ is wearing down.
AD-Everything hurt. He really needs rest as he is being less and less effective.
DS: Watermelon Knee. Not sure how much longer he can do it. Becoming less effective lately.
AJ: Bum back. This is kind of scary. He may not last until help arrives. I also saw him hopping on his leg.
Mason: Hamstring ding. Didn't seem to bother him last night. I consider this a regular type of wear and tear injury. This isnt like the other 3.
AB: Ankle ding: Same as Mason. Its there and it effects him but nothing he can't play on.
Healthy players:
NY, DMAC, Songaila, Haywood, OP
We really need to find rest for some or all of these players: AD, DS, AJ
We need to ride the rest of them until help arrives or we won't have anything left when they get here. I think we just need to except this and do the best we can for the good of the long run.
Mason, NY, DMAC, Songaila, AB, Haywood, OP
NY is the most talented healthy scorer. I would ride the kid along with Mason for the guards. BH, AB and OP can cover the post and let Songaila and DMAC run most the minutes at SF. We can still be competitive with these guys. Rest the remaining players at lot more. No more then 15-20 for AD, DS and AJ. Take the loss if that's what it means.
Ride the healthy players and use the injured ones in spot duty to help when need to keep the flow going.

Easy win. Just cover JRich. The rest of them suck.

You must not have seen Okafor play before. Also Felton plays good against us.

I have no worries about Okefor. Blatche dominated him earlier this year, and we know Haywood will shut him down.

Okafor never does anything against us. I believe Eddie didn't play Wood too much last night to save him for tonights game.
Besides the first game this year, I don't think Felton has done much against us either.

We lose by 23, because someone always has a reverse psychology run where they say we lose by big for multiple games, and we go on a W streak.
Go Wiz, lose us a big one!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. But I could easily see Carroll exploding for 5+ 3's if Antawn if covering him. That's just an unfair defensive matchup for Jamison.

Don't forget which board you're talking about. Depending on what happens tonight. Do you think you'll be remembered as the guy who got us 1 game under .500 or the one who dropped us 2 games below because he jinxed the game thread.......Snitch.

This is a must win, we have to win the games we should. I expect Blatche to explode once again vs the Bobcats.

Why guard J-rich? He's terrible.
