As I reported in my game story this morning, Caron Butler has a chipped bone in his left wrist, the result of a tough fall he took while making a layup during Thursday's win over Cleveland. Butler told me that it won't require surgery and that he can play with it. However, in the last two games, it's clearly been a problem. He's had trouble dribbling with his left hand and gripping the basketball has been an issue as well.
Caron: "Some of the things I'm used to doing out there I can't do right now because everything I'm doing is right-handed, but there are no excuses. I just have to go out there and play hard and develop a rhythm with the new style I'm trying to play with. A couple of more games, I should be back to normal."
"More tape and more padding and it should be good. Just wrap me up and let's go play."
He also had a funny line about Mrs. Tough Juice: "When I get home, that's what my wife is for, making me feel good about myself."
