What's the Deal?!?!? Am I the only one who sees a major breakdown in communication here. Obviously someone gave Gil the heads up that it would be okay to play in the Detroit game, and I'm damn sure Gil made his intentions known. So why lead a guy on like that? I'd be pizzed too. Something looks fishy, and I don't like it especially if it involves the Wizards medical staff. Maybe I'm thinking too much and they really are just being extra cautious. Either way, it's all their fault. FREE GIL!!!!!

Another brilliant thread JWiz. Obviously, you have hit on the formula for success. miller31time is my boy, but your game threads are clearly superior.

Sorry to have to stab you in the back miller31time, but I gotta call 'em like I seem 'em.

Not a gimme game as some might claim. They actually have one more win than we do. However, we should and need to win this.

Man, 10pm is a late game, I may sleep before it and set my alarm and watch it, and then go back to bed...I'm an early riser.

Okay, I'm calling it right now. IF and I mean IF Gil comes back this trip, it'll be against the Lakers.

I got a feeling he'll want to return somewhere where he feels comfortable.

If we can beat Portland, Seattle & Sacramento, it'd be huge. I wouldn't feel so bad dropping a game to the Lakers or Jazz.

Hell, let's win em all though!

Ah yes, I'm familar with the ass.ets of Vida Guerra.

Conflicted Christian that I am, I feel kind of guilty about now.... and a bit distracted, too.

Good jub, JWiz! :) Very nice....

Oh, the game... I think this is the most important game of the road trip. A win at Portland and a likely win at Seattle means all the Wizards would have to do is win one of the next three to have a good read trip.

I'll be surprised if the Wizards don't play the Blazers close, and it seems like they're in stride to take this game rather convincingly.

Of course we know this means expect a let down. :(

I dunno guys.

I think we need Hands11 to step up with his "double secret mojo" and start a useless, redundant game thread. It worked against Detroit.

Has a player ever dropped 50 in his first game back after returning from injury?

I've obviously been giving JWiz a hard time because I, like a college professor that sees a student with potential getting F's, can see that HE has a future in RealGM.

He just needed that motivation. But no, no, I don't want all the credit for this transformation. I'm just doin' my job. Being the teacher to JWiz' pupil.

I'm not gonna lie, I'll be in-bed by tip-off; I'm hoping to awake to good news.

Oh! I see that we get them on a b2b, so that's a loss for us unfortunately :( it's a jinx we need to kick

Great game thread, this should be a good game. We need this win to push for the 4th seed.

See, this is were Vida Guerra's cromulent assets come into play. Should be enough mojo to kick the habit.

In a surprise move, the doctors clear him to play and he posts a triple double (points, rebounds, swinging elbows) and the Wiz win.

Of course I was talking about Etan. Who did you think I was talking about?

I'm sure her cromulent ass.ets can cure something.

I like me some cromulence, whatever it is.

Cromulent means "valid, acceptable", or, possibly, "commonplace". Embiggen, coined by Dan Greaney, means "to make bigger", or, used symbolically, means "to empower
"

I go to the authority on all earthly things, wikipedia, to find out what cromulence means and find out it's got something to do with the Simpsons.

Go figure. :)

You'd be surprised to find that the Simpsons managed to make into the dictionary as well! ;)

Just say the word fella.

Only it wasn't a useless / redundant game thread. It was a Gil return prediction skipping the next game ahead of us thread. Dude, get your useless thread jargon down already.

NGT = Nice game thread. Keep up the good work.
