The Washington Wizards @ the purple and gold team!

Date: Sunday, March 30, 2008
Time: 9:30pm (EST)

Who is going to win??

Our 38-34 Bullets or those 49-24 Lakers
PG: Antonio Daniels
SG: DeShawn Stevenson
SF: Caron Butler, 2 Time All-star
PF: Antawn Jamison, 2 Time All-star
C: Brendan Haywood
Honorable Mention:
Gilberto Will he make his come back against his home town crowd? I sure hope so!

Or the Lack-of-Lakers?

PG: D. Fisher
SG: K. Bryant
SF: V. Radmanovic
PF: L. Odom
C: R. Turiaf

Honorable Mention:
J. Farmar Dude can score. Crap...

Matchup of the Night:
Caron Butler vs. Kobe Bryant
Ugh, Kobe's going to score 6000 points, but we limit everybody else. Gasol and Bynum are out, so we can pound it down low, as I said in some other post. We need Antawn to stay away from being Sir-Chuck-A-Lot and play like the Team MVP he is this season. Caron should have a huge game. If he gets like 30, I think this game's in the bag.

X-Factor(s) for our Wizards:
Gilbert Areas
It'd be nice if he played... Please Gil, get in there!

--------------------------

I'm not going to bet against our boys, but we can most definately win. Lakers are hurting, and we are finally getting better. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but we play every team the same. The Heat, the Hornets, the Celtics, the Sonics, every team is tough. But, every team is beatable. I say we win, because we know that we can.

Wiz by 10.

I don't like our chances this game but I think we have a shot as long as our perimeter defense is decent and our inside game is working.

Hopefully Gasol isn't back for this game. A win would be huge because I think we have no shot at winning in Utah.

Go Wiz.

Well, there isn't a better time to play the Lakers this year, with Gasol and Bynum both being out (probably) and Los Angeles in a slump.

Great chance for a win. Whether we will play to our potential is the question.

Cleveland is playing the Pistons @ Detroit tonight (7:30) on NBATV.

If they lose, and there's always a good chance of doing that when playing the Pistons, we move to 1.5 games behind them.

If we win tomorrow, it's 1 game.

But, so's not to sound too cocky, if they win tonight and we lose tomorrow, the gap is pushed to 3 games.

(hope that evened out the jinx)

Wiz win.

And in an effort to add fuel to the Finals fire DeShawn calls both Kobe and Jack Nicholson overrated.

We need this win, I would love to have home court vs the Cavs but I doubt that will happen.

Well Kobe is overrated... :D

But seriously( ), if he calls Jack Nicholson overrated, I officially disown him, because I mean c'mon, The Shining! The Departed! Batman! One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest!

go wiz!

Oh yeah, we are the hottest team in the East, going on last 10 games at least. I hope we keep it up. 8-2 over the 10.

Let's make it three straight for both teams. Lakers go down and Wizards make up a game on Cleveland.

If I was rooting for any other team besides the wizards i'd be happy about this, but we tend to lose some games that we should win. I just thought it was weird how when I saw that Gasol and Bynum were out I actually worried. weird.

But I still think we win this game. We've won 8 of our last 10 and it seems like everyone is pumped about arenas's return and catching up to cleveland. i say by about 10ish.

Detroit obliterated Cleveland tonight. Only 1.5 games back. We need this game.

That's actually a good comparison: you can hate me now...but I won't stop now.

F*** it though, hope Soulja Boy provokes him, nonetheless.
