Game 82: Washington Wizards @ Orlando Magic 4/16/08
In an attempt to save our karma going into the post season, here I am making the game thread.
Washington Wizards [43-38]:
PG- Antonio Daniels
SG- DeShawn Stevenson
SF- Antawn Jamison
PF- Darius Songaila
C- Brendan Haywood
6th man- Gilbert Arenas
Orlando Magic [50-30]:
PG- Jameer Nelson
SG- Mo Evans
SF- Hedo Turkoglu
PF- Rashard Lewis
C- Dwight Howard
6th man- Keith Bogans
Keys to the Game:
Rest Healthy Starters:
Let's not have any more injuries. We should just rest our guys and get ready for a post season battle with Cleveland for the third straight season. Let Nick Young take every shot and score 50 if he wants meanwhile letting D-Mac grab every board. I doubt Orlando will put in any effort either.
Get Gil 20 Minutes:
Agent Zero needs some more time under his belt before the post-season kicks off. If the Hibachi can get grilling in this up-coming series it will hurt Cleveland alot. We'll see how Gil performs in the playoffs, keep in mind that the last time he played a playoff game it was in 2006 where he missed two free throws that could've forced a game 7 against the Cavaliers.
44-38
Same record as the championship team....good karma?????????

Rotations and line ups....didn't I already do this in another thread ?
Feeling a little twilight zone-ish
Ok, I made some adjustments. We don't want anyone hurt but we also don't want to expose the remaining players and we need some semblance of normalcy and rhythm.
AD = 10 Minutes - needs to rest his wrist and ankle
CB = 0 Minutes - needs to rest his wrist, hip and knee
AJ = 10 Minutes - needs to rest his nuts
DS = 10 Minutes - needs to rest his knee and buttock
RM - 30 mins
NY - 30 mins
GA - 20 Mins
DMAC - 30 mins
Songaila - 20 Mins
AB - 30 Mins
BH - 20 Mins
OP - 30 mins
That 240 minutes
Start AD, DS, AJ, AB, BH
Bench GA, RM, NY, DMAC, Songaila, OP
This way you get to start your starters and DS keeps his steak. AB/BH gets some burn together. Always good to get some practice in with that line up for when needed. Then you rotate to mostly your normal rotations and GA gets to do his warm up, then you let the young legs finish it out.
If you want to spread the minutes a little more,
Bring back ET for one 7 million dollar game.

I don't see any point in playing the Big 3 against Orlando. They have been together long enough to not need a tune-up game.
I say keep Cleveland (and their scouting spy that has been at every Zards game for the last 2 weeks) guessing about the status of Arenas and Butler.
BTW, my guess is that Gil is back to being in the starting line-up come play-off time... just a hunch.

Maybe, except without the big three, or any three, we have like 6 players total, seems like. I'm five with giving heavy minutes to DMac again, try him on the three point shooters see if he can make 'em work a bit in case we need the same skill vs them Cav jackers.
