I think it's fine just as a "high level" view of the series. Maybe this can be the thread for the overall series, while we'll have detailed game threads for the individual games? We should have the actual game threads started by the folks who had the highest winning percentage when doing game threads during the course of the season.

Whoever created the game thread for our last win against the Cavaliers should get the honor of creating the thread for this game.

I just bought two tickets to game four. I've never been to a playoff game before. I'm so freaking pumped. Section 118, row Q. I'll be cheering the Wiz on from the corner.

big risk by a ballboy making a (no offense) sub-par game thread for a playoff game. Hope you get lucky......

Awwww, I wanted to kick off the playoff thread. Now I probably won't get to make one until Boston.

I love that Jamison can guard Ben Wallace and rest on defense. I like how we match up vs them. We will win game 1, the team is pumped up for this one.

Does the store at Verizon have pink Wizards hats? I don't remember. My girlfriend wants me to pick her up one.

Just buy a white one and wash it with your colored clothes

Does anyone think the early tip off time will hurt us? We are in the first playoff game (for Lebron of course) we need to win this game and steal home court advantage. Let's jump on them like savages and never give them a chance to win this series.

To go along with the the whole Jay Z/Soulja boy theme I tried to take the starting lineup and liken them to rappers....

AD/Method Man-old vet, has never been considered the best, but he always delivers. Put him on your team or song and he will make it better
Stevenson- Souljah Boy-given name and took it
Caron /Common- one of the best in the game, underrated
Jamison /Talib Kweli: also underrated, smart rhymes, always delivers)
Haywood/Redman- goofy, always saying something hilarious..never shined but has a small cult following.

bench
Nick Young/Lupe Fiasco-new to the game, but has shown he is going to one of the best)
Arenas/Lil Wayne- always talking trash and putting out new stuff. One of the best, calls himslelf the best rapper alive. lil cocky

Delonte West-young berg -he's got some game, but nobody really talks about him.
Devin Brown/Tony Yayo- you only know him because of the guy he rolls with.
Lebron-Jay Z called himself that.
Wallace-Suge Knight not really a rapper (or offensive player) but he's pretty intimidating
Z/Andre 3000. A great player/rapper and when teamed up with his buddy (Big Boi for 3000/Lebron for Z)they turn into an amazing duo

Bench
AV/Tpain- is everywhere and the hair is just crazy

okay, i was a little bored.

Hey what's up everybody. This is my first post on these boards since I just created a name. However, I've been roaming here for a few years now. Anyway I hope we do some work against the cavs. The third time is always a charm.

Delonte West-young berg

damn lol that was a good one

Arenas is more like Kanye though, big mouth , pats him self on the back, but makes great albums/has great regular seasons.
