Well you've just ensured two things.
1. The Wizards will lose game 5
2. Eddie Jordan will be the coach at the start of the 2008-09 season.

Well, we have to make one of the better comebacks in NBA history. It's out of question that Ji has been a major part of our enduring curse. So, in order to break it and finally beat the Cavs, we need someone with an extraordinary, special mojo - like Ji. If we wanna have a real shot, we must have faith in Ji. It makes perfect sense. It's not over yet. Go Wizards!

Good Bye EJ!
I do appreciate what he has done for the Wizards, but they are treading water, and a shake-down is in-order. They can start by getting rid of that no-class buffoon DeShawn Stevenson. Looking forward to getting rid of the Princeton Offense also and getting a REAL PG.
Good Bye EJ!

I can't tell you how much I'm going to enjoy it when EJ is roaming the sidelines as head coach of the Zards next season. I can't wait to see the reaction of those of you who want to see him fired.

So lets see:
1. Ji started the first game thread of the season and the Wizards had a ridiculous injury plagued season
2. Ji started the first playoff game thread OUT OF TURN and the Wizards are getting pwned by an inferior team.
wtf is wrong with you man?

It's good to know that you don't care about the teams success and more about making yourself look right. Cool.

Yep, we see where your priorities are. You don't give a damn about winning, as long as your boy is still coach, all is good in your world.

The idea of Eddie Jordan coaching another season with the Wizards makes John Coltrane roll in his grave.
I don't even want to talk about this game.

Donkey and swami, is there just a little part of you that wants the Wiz to win this game, so it brings on your reign of terror that much sooner? I don't know why, but I'm actually a little excited for that.

You mean lose? I definitely DO NOT want them to lose, our reign of terror is ready...but I wouldn't mind holding it off for a few more series. If it happens on Wednesday, I do think it could be one of the worst storms EVER. So much is built up....

There's a few reasons why I think we'll win...
*The Wizards usually respond well after a tough loss.
*We have nothing to lose -- seriously, everyone is so disappointed in the outcome of last game and they know the % of teams that beat a 3-1 deficit. We have little chance of winning this series....so what the hell do we have to lose here? We'll be playing with heart.
*I think the players will be playing for EJ. As much as some on here want him fired (as of now, I'm unusually neutral on the issue), the guys on our team love him. They will be playing to keep EJ's job.
*EJ will be coaching to keep his job -- I subscribe to the theory that (and it's been mentioned before) "EJ doesn't play to win. He plays not to lose". I think that we'll be seeing him take some chances that he normally wouldn't, and will go for the kill.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was watching TNT last night and Kenny Smith was telling a story of how, when he played for the Rockets, Houston was down 1-3 in a series. He was saying that the group of players were all down and depressed, but how Hakeem said the following (paraphrasing) -- "Once we win the next game, we're going home, and there's NO WAY we're losing at home. Then the series is tied 3-3 and ALL the pressure is on the other team to not lose."
I love that, and subscribe to that theory. Is it a longshot? Absolutely. I don't know about y'all but I wasn't exactly expecting us to beat Boston on back to back nights. And we did.

That's how I felt about the Caps series with Philly, and they made it to OT of Game 7. All the Wizards can -- and should -- be concerned with is winning one game. And they can do that.

Let's see how our guys respond to a heartbreaking loss. Will Eddie Jordan go small again or give minutes to Blatche and Haywood? Will Arenas play in game 5? I'm very disappointed by Butler this series, he's supposed to be the heart and soul of this team... I expect to see a huge game by Haywood
