Hey posters,

First of all, I'm sorry that your team wasn't able to make it to the second round of the playoffs. I definitely identify with you, since my Pacers weren't even able to make it that far. I am looking to put together NBA Summits for each team as the Draft draws closer.

I put together a ton of these on the NFL forums heading into the draft and they were wildly successful. I hope for the same here, and I know the population of these boards will lend itself to many responses.

Editor Chris Reina and I have put together these seven questions for you all to answer, with the best answers making it into posted pieces on our main page. The only thing that I ask is that you please limit your responses to two sentences per question. Please try your best to heed that request, it makes the Summits easier to read and quicker to put together.

Thanks gang, and best of luck in the Draft.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
2. Where were the team

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs? Kept its collective mouth shut. Stay at home on the perimeter shooters, not load up on LeBron's side as we did.
2. Where were the team

Ooh, nifty. I'll have a go.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

mmm... play better team ball on offense, kneecap LeBron... play with some heart... play a little more intelligently on defense.

2. Where were the team

Ooh, couldn't hold myself to the two sentence minimum. Sorry.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

Washington could have played a bigger lineup, with Jamison at SF, Blatche at PF, and Haywood at C to rebound and defend without collapsing inside. Quicker, taller, more athletic players like Young and McGuire in the backcourt would have defended the perimeter better, also.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
The Wizards were awful all year at dealing with perimeter shooters and come playoff time they decided to dance with the girl they'd brought with them. Defensive rebounding was also an issue, and Lebron, Lebron was a host of issues.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
A better defensive gameplan by a smarter coach. One that didn't allow us to get bombarded from the three.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
Been fully healthy -- a healthy Gilbert Arenas and 6 fouls and 10 minutes from Etan Thomas get this team past the Cavs.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

Been healthy, simple as that. A healthy Washington team can beat the Cavaliers.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

First, don't tell the world you're going to try to hurt LeBron. Second, stop helping off the 3pt shooters.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

Secured home court advantage by beating the Milwaukee Bucks late in the season. Covered perimeter shooters.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
Closed out on shooters better, and not put out a public hit on Stern's golden boy prior to the series. A little health would have gone a long way too...

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?

If Eddie Jordan had made just a few of the wide open shots he bricked in the 4th quarter of Game 1 vs. the Cavs, the Wizards would be the ones getting abused by Garnett right now.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
Fouled without talking about it, pretended they were the finesse team being beaten up by thugs and bullies, flopped and taken charges, played up their good-guy reputation, with DeShawn as a loopy eccentric. Sat Gilbert down.

1. What could the team have done differently to advance in the playoffs?
Defend LeBron as the Spurs and Celtics have -- give him the outside shot and double team him hard and early.
