What happened to the home town discont? I'm happy we kept Gil but 127Mill. I hope he is healthy.

OMG, 2 to 3 years from now who could we sign.

Is that the offer? If so, it's old news. We know a $127M deal is on the table.

Or are you saying that Arenas has actually signed the contract? Isn't he on his way to China right now?

I'm glad he resigned hopefully there won't be any more serious knee injuries also good to see Gilbert keep his word that he would resign with the Wizards if Antwan stayed.

If this goes through, I personally think that we will regret this 2-3 years from now. If we go out in the first round next year or he gets a significant injury, all hells gonna break loose. We might end up in a similar situation to what Milwakee is in with Michael Redd.

Except Arenas has proven to be a much better player than Redd.

We're putting all our eggs into the Gilby basket if this is true. By god we'll just have to pray for the best, lol.

Eh, my guess is Smokin Al is just regurgitating what Ivan said in his blog. I don't rely on any of the 980 shows to have the most up to date information.

OK - I apologize to anyone who may take offense. But we've got way too many parallel Gilbert threads going -- all regurgitating the same thing. I'm gonna pick one to sticky and lock the others.
